We really, really loved our stay here. It's maybe 15 minutes from Kerry Airport and is located at the base of the Dingle Peninsula. There is a lot across the street that was easy (and free) to park at. The staff was full of charm and made our stay very warm. While there are many other pubs and restaurants within walking distance, we found ourselves more often than not at the pub located on site! Their seafood chowder is (and I'm not kidding) the best I've ever had. Also, GET THE BREAKFAST. There is a menu to choose from, with options from your traditional continental breakfast (fresh fruit, coffee, cereal, yogurt) but you are also able to choose from a menu of hot food. I had the scrambled eggs, bacon and toast and my husband got the full Irish breakfast (sausage, bacon, fried egg, black and white pudding) along with coffee or traditional Irish breakfast tea. Honestly the breakfast is the best included breakfast I've had while traveling. The room was clean! Included a kettle with tea and coffee and had a teeny tiny tv.
We were on the top floor which was a bit warm and stuffy. A fan would have been a nice addition but we got on just fine. Also, it's worth noting that there are no real toiletries (shampoo, lotion, etc) in the bathroom other than hand soap. However, there was a hairdryer. It was a bit loud at night with the traffic, but that really can't be helped.
Great B&B and very cozy pub with incredibly friendly stuff! Really enjoyed the stay and the food.
Great Irish pub b&b experience. Good base to explore Dingle and ring of Kerry. Close to Kerry airport. Friendly staff. Good food. Park in front.
We had a very good stay in this B + B on our trip around Ireland. A big room and a very good breakfast with many things to select. In the Pub restaurant you can eat very good for a good price. The host and staff were very nice, hospitable and very helpful. Parking possible near by the house.
Staff are very friendly and helpful, the room was cosy and very clean, and the breakfast was great.
