“Relais Ca' Sabbioni” is situated in the inland area of Venice along the “Riviera del Brenta”: a combination of contradas and green spots risen along the ancient path of the Brenta river that links Padua to Venice. Land rich in history, culture, art, landscape and evidence of the past arrived till our days thanks to the glorious Serenissima Republic. The Villa dates back to the XVI century and today is catalogued on Venetian Villas list as a valuable building. Known as “Osteria dei Sabbioni” it worked as a place of rest and refreshment for travelers, becoming in centuries residence of monsignors and illustrious personalities of those days. Today, the ancient Villa has acquired the original destination becoming an elegant accommodation facility, thanks to a wise restoration project that respected the original elements and the distribution layout of the existing structure. Evidence of this is the presence of the central lounges of the ground and first floor enhanced even more by the beautiful traditional “terrazzo alla veneziana” floor and by the original wooden beams.
