Pros: A good continental breakfast, small but enjoyable pool and able to walk into town
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff were friendly and very helpful. The hotel has lots of facilities and is a close (uphill) walk to the beautiful village of Moustiers-Sainte-Marie which is a must visit! Also a close drive to the Verdon gorge which is also a must visit and a truly stunning place. The hotel had a good feel to it that the staff genuinely care about the quality of your stay. Stunning views of the valley Would definitely return

Pros: If you are by car, it's an excellent hotel to explore Moustiers and Gorges du Verdon. The hotel is in a very pleasant place with beautiful view. The room is comfortable, clean and the staff is very friendly. Having a good breakfast with that beautiful landscape is a good start to the day.
Cons: A frigo in the room.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast served on the terrace with view of the town and surrounding fields. Staff were very friendly and attentive. The room was quiet and well-maintained. The pool area was small with an excellent hot tub, good spa and 'treadmill' pool.
Cons: Access to tennis courts not until 9 am; maybe bring forward to 8 am.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had two nights in this small and charming hotel situated just outside the beautiful moustiers-st-marie. The employees/managers were friendly and helpful. We came a little late, and although the pool area was actually about to close, it was kept open longer so that we could go there and cool down after a hot car ride. The pool is rather small, so don't expect to be able to do swim exercise. We had breakfast at the veranda and found that everything was good quality and that there was a wide variety of things to choose from. We liked our room, it was spacious and the beds were good.

Pros: Love this hotel, staff really friendly, lovely breakfast, pool area, all great.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly host Location Breakfast
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our quad room was perfect for the 4 of us. The location is great, as you are at the foot of the hill of Moustiers-Ste Marie and can walk to the village. We drove through Verdon gorge and lake Ste Croix being close by for a incredible outing for the day! Alexis is a great host, providing directions to sites and restaurant recommendations and reservations help. Her breakfast is amazing as well!
Cons: We lived it all!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The setting, food, decor, comfy mattress and service was really really good. Highly recommend!
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A gem of a hotel.. lovely rooms and a very welcoming host! This was the perfect hotel to explore Moustiers & Gorges du Verdon. Would definitely recommend staying at Clos Des Iris and would certainly go back again myself!
Cons: Nothing - the property, room, breakfast and warm welcome were all superb!
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Such a lovely place. I highly recommend everything about this authentic French countryside inn.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: A short walk into Moustiers Ste Marie. It's rustic and that's the charm. We arrived during a thunderstorm and didn't get the chance to sit outside until briefly in the morning. We only stayed a night, but it's somewhere to relax for longer if you have the time. Very good toiletries made locally and available to buy in reception.
Cons: During the storm, the room was fairly small to relax in and the wifi was unplugged due to the lightning. The shower head wouldn't stay up so I had to crouch down to get under the shower to wash, but it did add to the charm somewhat. If you're elderly, the road into town is steep but not too long.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very welcoming hostess. Charming place, basic but comfortable. Very comfortable bed, two large singles together, very long and perfect for me at 196cm tall. Large bathroom. Excellent shower, large, great pressure, great temperature. Cool on a hot day yet warm on a cool night, without resorting to aircon or heaters. Stunning village
Cons: No facilities in room, no fridge, no kettle to make tea. Not much room for living out of two large suitcases - for a one night stay to unpack into the large wardrobes is not practical (we were on the road for 7 weeks) But these are minor quibbles We loved our stay
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Host understanding when we arrived late. Room excellent and clean breakfast good
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast, small but tastefully furnished cozy room, kind staff, beautiful garden,
Cons: Only one thing. Size of shower booth a bit too small and splash went out of the booth always dumped the floor, but it's nothing compared with many good points.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Private room at the end of the strip of rooms. Beautiful grounds with edible cherry trees in parking lot! Wonderful touch to have olive shower gel available, we bought some to take back to the U.S.! Excellent location within walking distance to town center. HIGHLY RECCOMMEND!

Pros: Incredible. Staff was awesome!!! The restaurant is a MUST!!! Terrace dining with GREAT food and service like you can only imagine
9.2 Excellent
Pros: A stunning location with incredible views. So quiet and peaceful but still not far from civilisation. Unbelievably welcoming and helpful staff who couldn’t do enough to assist. A beautiful room with a wonderful little terrace area. A sublime evening meal topped it off. Thanks for an amazing night.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Service is great & food is incredible. Location is stunning and rooms are beautiful.
Cons: Breakfast is super expensive (to the extent we opted out). When we arrived it was obvious no one had been to visit the pool area in a while with ‘empty’ pool loungers occupied by wet towels left by other guests, dirty towels overflowing from laundry basket and no clean towels available.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic food - wonderful location
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The surroundings were astonishing, the facilities very genuine and comfortable. Very frendly and serviceminded staff. Tastful luxury. Just keep it as it is. We're already planning to return next year.
Cons: Nothing.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location is incredible. The grounds of the hotel are pristine. The restaurant is Michelin Star and the food was amazing. Highly recommend.
Cons: We liked everything! Just one small thing upon arrival arrival — would be great if the hotel can offer some help with the luggage.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Splendid manoir in an amazing area. Ground surrounding the main house is huge and marvelous. Cuisine is spectacular, every day!
Cons: I didn´t like to have to leave at the end!
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The location
Cons: The room was the smallest room for two people we have ever experienced there should be a warning for disabled or large people Discussed !!! The manager was the rudest most un empathic and arrogant hotel reception person i have ever come across
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic old farmhouse that has been renovated to an exceptional standard. The pool is fantastic and the rooms were so comfortable. Very friendly staff and the restaurant was superb. Delicious breakfast in the terrace. Lovely views wherever you looked.
Cons: We were cycling through France from St Malo to Nice and needed to be sure our bikes were secure at all times. On arrival the receptionist kindly arranged for them to be kept in a locked shed but when we went to get them out it was not locked and the bikes were rather precariously stored. These are expensive bikes and there Seemed little understanding that this was our only mode of transport and as important as the Porsches parked in the car park. Despite that we did have an amazing stay and were totally rejuvenated for our next day of cycling.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent kitchen
Cons: Terrible wifi service

Cons: The reception isn't 24/7 so you might have to contact them about your arrival time. The breakfast has a few options of food and drinks so we didn't have it there. But the overall experience was good.

Pros: Staff were lovely. Location was perfect, just outside the main village, 10 mins easy stroll to the centre. Nice to get away from the tourists and come back to a lovely haven of peace and quiet. Room and bathroom was really spacious (Room 8). Pool is enough for a dip but not to do lengths if you’re looking for exercise! Really good base for seeing the Lake and the Verdon Gorge.
Cons: The beds are a little hard.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely fresh breakfast
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The place is great, the service of the staff very good
Cons: The breakfast is very expensive when you consider to pay already € 114 a night. I write this two weeks after our stay and now I could compare with other B&B. What you get for €11,50 is minimum. Not even homemade jam or something like this The swimming pool was every 30 minutes full with wasps Room was small. Since we stayed 4 days and other guests shorter this could be better The price is in gets high
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great location close to Verdon gorge. Beautiful mountain surroundings. Bizarre decor of the hotel, interesting and fun. Friendly receptionist. Deep bath tube in the room!
Cons: No fridge in the room, no dishes, had to borrow from the bar.

Pros: It was quiet and peaceful and a nice pool. Bed was comfortable and nice sheets.
Cons: Floor in bedroom needing cleaning and bathroom too. Too far to walk to the village.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place makes you feel like you are at a dear friend’s home! A few highlights: Breakfast in the garden, friendly staff and fellow guests, quirky furniture and antiques to look around, full bar & coffee capabilities, and a full-sized shower!! I’d recommend this to anyone wanting to visit Verdon. It’s also important to note that this hotel is close to restaurants, shops, and gas for vehicles. The national park is a very large area, and Moustiers Sainte-Marie is one of the best villages to be near. The view is spectacular!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good location. It is really close to Verdon Gordes. It has a beautiful garden make our breakfast even more enjoyable.
Cons: The pool was really beautiful and has a nice view, but there were too many dead bugs in it.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything, amazing place and great room view superb view. Wish I had taken the breakfast. Lovely people, forgot to thank them as our bikes were stored down the village for which they supplied a van to drop us off and pick us up. Would love to stay there again.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Cozy little hotel, our room was very nice, modern, the bathroom was recently renovated and upgraded, and the view from our room was speechless, you could just stay in bed and admire the mountains, the wonderful churches and the golden star. It definitely exceeded our expectations, not sure why it's rated with only 2 stars.
Cons: It wasn't a problem for us, but an AC would be welcomed. There is a fan in the room, anyway.
5.0 Okay
Pros: We were so fed up with the place that we didn't eat any meals there.
Cons: When we arrived it was about 8:45 PM -- we had called from our car to say we were arriving late and still wanted to eat dinner and were told that would be okay. No one offered to help us with our bags and when I insisted that we could not carry our bags ourselves the man said: "We are not servants here!" I was gobsmacked. After we got the bags to the room we went back downstairs and were told it was too late to eat dinner. . . .
7.9 Good
Pros: The location was excellent. The hotel was right next to the waterfall. Rooms have been update - modern for the age of the hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Cons: Bed could have been a bit softer. Difficult to keep water inside the shower when it doesn't have a door.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Position was the best
Cons: Staff were not very helpful except for one
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Conveniently situated on our cycling route close to the Gorge of Verdon. The evening meal was wonderful with excellent choice on the menu. Picturesque, with dining room over the waterfall.
Cons: Situation over the waterfall has its good points aesthetically, but the noise of water flowing does disturb sleep a liitle.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel with great breakfast and fab location
7.1 Good
Pros: Location and meals, friendly staff.
Cons: Awful parking problems!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location for a stay in Moustiers-Sainte-Marie. Room was small but still nice. Bathroom was very new and comfortable.
Cons: A little bit pricy but sill within reason.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice location in a amazing city view.
Cons: They cold invest in an air conditioner instead of the fan. Regarding the staff, there's an entrance/exit through the restaurant of the hotel. There's an old lady who doesn't speak english and who wasn't polite with my wife, putting my wife away from the restaurant, putting the hands on her! She was really rude, due to a kind of "siesta" they have in the afternoon of Friday. Very bad situation! They should either close the connection from the rooms to the restaurant or teach that rude lady on how to treat people. We are paying and we deserve respect and good service! We are not obliged to guess if they are closed or opened. That is a Hotel, so we expect hotels stays open during the whole day!

Pros: Very charming rooms. Excellent breakfast in a nice garden. Very helpful owner and very good room service.
Cons: We didn‘t miss anything.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The location of hotel is nice. Its quite family hotel. The hotel would urgently need quite some modenization/renewal works to be done.

3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The lady that works there. She tried to help
Cons: The owner shouted at us when we called him at night because there was no hot water on both rooms. He was roud and blamed us for not knowing how to use a bath. Pros: Location, the room size the breakfast in the garden and the owners were very friendly
Cons: Air conditioning did not work
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful small hotel 5 minutes walking from the center of the village. Very friendly and welcoming stuff. Very spacey room. Beautiful garden for breakfast (though you need to beware of the bees in summer). Good, fully stoked mini-bar. A very nice touch with the rooms being named after planets rather than having numbers. Private parking just in front of the hotel.
Cons: The shower has no shower stand (i.e. you can't hold the shower head anywhere and have to do all the washing with 1 hand)

5.0 Okay
Cons: Bad bad internet - We have to pay to access indoor pool - Can’t take coffee with us to the room
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Room was clean, nice and just renovated, spacious, balcony was nice. Good breakfast. Helpful and friendly staff. Walking distance to the lake and village.
Cons: Wifi was not working well.
7.1 Good
Pros: Nice big room. Breakfast good value for money and nice seating area. Dinner was also nice. Although it’s called a spa hotel the spa is extra and not cheap either. Think it was just under €20 for 24 hour use per person. Location wise we had a car so it was easy for us to drive to the lake and little village. I personally wouldn’t want to do the walk in the dark. Car only took like three mins so not a long walk just not a nice walk.
7.9 Good
Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bathroom was renovated and very nice, but the room (standard) was rather boring and dull. Breakfast was ok (but not more than that)
Cons: I was sure that the spa is included in the room price. I found it misleading that the name of the hotel includes "spa" but in fact it is not included and I was told that it belongs to another company (not the hotel's).
9.6 Excellent
Pros: This hotel was as expected. A 2 star hotel with great location at a great price. Basic but sufficient breakfast. Would definitely stay again.
Cons: Noisy rooms, had to be moved due to family with children on the floor above us. But once we got moved it was quiet. Albeit not as good a view in the new room.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel needs updating - it looks nicer in the brochure than in real life. Everything looks a bit dated, particularly the bathroom. But it has a nice pool, and the breakfast was good as well.
5.4 Okay
Pros: The room was clean, and quite large. We were able to walk into town.
Cons: The information given was misleading: it’s more than 800m to the lake as advertised and the 500m we were told was the walk to town is more like 1km over unlit, rough terrain. Overpriced for what it was. Spa not included in price.
7.5 Good
Pros: Easy access and location. Comfortable room
Cons: Wifi was very poor, when working slow but you cannot stay connected for long and then you have login/register all over again. This is very stressful when trying to make onward bookings loosing the connection part way through a transaction
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Good location, friendly and helpfull staff, clean and tidy and the food was excellent.
Cons: We did not realise from the online info that there was a motor caravan site and fuel station directly in front of the hotel. Not a particular issue just some noise from balcony.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great stuff, great food, superb location close to Verdon
Cons: Rooms not highly maintained

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Room with beautiful view. We love the village and hope to come again. It's the most amazing place in the world :)
7.9 Good
Pros: return visit - seems like new management,- down stairs toilets refurbished since last visit- very modern. Hotel has its own car park situated behind it as parking in Moustiers is always a problem
Cons: drinks now only allowed outside if having a meal, on last visit this was not the case with many locals enjoying a drink outside, it would seem there might have been a change of management
7.1 Good
Pros: Good location and mountains view from the window. It’s good to have a parking place especially in a high season.
Cons: Very simple, nothing special, not cozy.

6.3 Good
Pros: Location , terrace
Cons: Very old rooms
7.1 Good
Pros: View, air
Cons: No working wi-fi, poor breakfast
10.0 Excellent
Pros: People serving were just beautiful just like the Landscape. Size of room was quite adequate with a nice (shared) balcony.
Cons: Unfortunately the free Wifi was next to useless in the main areas and none existing in our own bedroom. Pitty because that's the only (and big) fault.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The location of the hotel is good if you plan to hike down the Verdon canyon (be aware that you have to climb up the canyon at the end of your hike to reach the hotel).
Cons: The room and dinner/breakfast (there are no alternatives around) were pricy in consideration of the quality but still ok if you plan to do a hike around.
6.3 Good
Pros: Amazing, stunning setting looking over the Verdun gorge...
Cons: I didn't feel warmly welcomed as a guest on my arrival. The room had no shower gel or soap in the dispensers (the bags inside were empty and not replaced). The bath a bit tatty round edges. In the evening, I was given the "english menu" and was not told there were plat du jour options (which included some cheaper options, one of which I would have chosen) The food wasn't that great - £16 not justified for poor lamb, ok chips... I was told I could eat earlier than the given time and sat in the dining room, butI was thrn left completely unattended until I eventually had to go and ask for a beer. Given its amazing and beautiful setting, this hotel and restaurant should be a flagship for Logis. Instead, it's very badly-organised, and really over-priced for what it is currently offering. I don't blame the staff, they're doing their best, but they need proper training and leadership. Logis and its management that need to work on things...
9.2 Excellent
Pros: 1. Very nice view of the grand canyon. 2. The staffs are very helpful, they are trying everything to help you. 3. The room is very clean, they clean every day. 4. You can eat at the restaurant even if it's out of normal dining time.
Cons: 1. There is no mobile phone signal in this area and the Wi-Fi connection is very poor. 2. There are a lot of flies and bees around this area. It could be annoying when you are eating. 3. You don't have many choices for breakfast, fruits are very limited.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Magnificent view Good price Clean
Cons: Basic breakfast (with good coffee though)
6.3 Good
Pros: The location is amazing, some of the staff were very friendly, and while the room was very basic, it was fine for a night.
Cons: The hotel is exactly as others have described - very very basic, but in a beautiful spot. Remember to bring your own water as you can't drink tap water that high up.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Service is very friendly and the view is amazing. Dinner is very tasty and all the staff friendly and more than endeavored. They speak Frdnch, English and one German. Parking for our very long van and 3 motor bikes were no problem. A very good place to stay. We enjoyed it 4 days.
Cons: The rooms are huge enough for a few nights, for a longer time we would prefer more space. The furniture is old fashioned, it should be remodelled. We had no hangig for our shower head and only bathtub.
