The location near the train station was fine. Staff was friendly and the facilities were clean. Nice that there was a lift because everything was on the 2nd level (one above street). While staff was not really prepared to store our luggage they kindly accommodated us. Also good to know that you have to be buzzed in when you arrive and there is a curfew although we were back well in advanced of it.
Electrical seemed a bit wonky. My bedside light didn't work because of a short and I saw at least one other light in the larger facility that flickered a lot.
The lady at the front desk was extremely nice.
Delivers what it promises. Proximity to Hauptbahnhof, very good connections. The comments about a single bathroom / toilet for the floor are precise, but this is what is described as shared. There could be more facilities, but I didn't experience traffic jams :) didn't have any problems at all. All in all a good price-performance ratio. Got offered biscuits and coffee upon arrival and there was no problem at all checking in before scheduled checkin time so could leave my bags already in the morning.
Great location, very close to the central train station. Owner was very lovely to us, kept our bags for us after checkout. Cookies and water provided on a table was a nice thought. Bed was super comfy.
It’s a communal space, which is fine for us since expected. However, be prepared that other guests may not be as respectful of the space. In our experience, a group of loud, obnoxious middle aged men attending Oktoberfest walked up and down the corridors at 6am every morning yelling, burping and farting. I heard them using the toilet from down the hallway - pretty disgusting and left the toilet in a bit of a dire state. They also left their doors open in the hallway and would talk to each other from different rooms. It got to the point I had to ask them to quiet down. Naturally, they did not respect this and continued to be obnoxiously loud for the rest of our 3 day stay. Understandably not directly the accommodation’s fault, however maybe a future recommendation would be to ask guests disrespecting the space to be quieter.
I asked a double bed in reservation and it cames with two single
