Cons (-) The tub was extremely slow to drain. The staff said it is an ongoing issue. It has some updates such as new furniture, recent paint, however it needs a complete renovation. Popcorn & swirl paternity ceilings, paint ending at the toilet tank with the old wallpaper cut to match the outline, shower heads wall plates extending 2 inches from the wall, missing light globes,... Pros (+) Nice proximity to downtown at a price that leaves a lot more money in your wallet for other stuff. Staff was friendly, new furniture in the room, ice-cold A/C, comfy bed.
Cons (-) You get what you pay for, but this is a great deal. Live a little.

Pros (+) Location was a few miles out of downtown, $12 cab fare to get to the center of downtown. Front desk staff called a cab for us, we thought they might have a shuttle but they did not. When dropping us off the cab driver told us the motel was in a, "bad part of town, don't leave your room until morning." The jacuzzi jets didn't work but we liked the room anyways.
