Great overall.
Great rooms, beds, views out the window on one side. Wonderful rustic luxury vibe. Hot tub nice and hot! Sauna very comfortable. Fireplace seats and windows in the lobby.
Very hard to find towels and water to drink in sauna/pool area. Coffee in lobby just so-so.

Overview
Lied Lodge Conference Center is surrounded by 260 acres of nature and outdoor exploration with wooded acres. The lodge was originally built by the Arbor Day Foundation for gatherings to discuss conservation and the environment. Being the birthplace of Arbor Day, it's a National Historic Landmark and offers adventures for the whole family, as well as hosts family reunions, business conferences, and weddings with its 14,000 square feet of event space.
The lodge has 140 nature-inspired rooms where guests can choose from remodeled rooms or suites, complete with the comforts of luxurious bedding, nature-inspired décor, and scenic views. Amenities include free Wi-Fi, cable tvs, coffee makers with premium Arbor Day coffee and refrigerators.
The Timber Dining Room offers guests fresh, seasonal food served among the views of Arbor Day Farm. The dinner menu features salmon, steaks and burgers. Meals are prepared with fruits and vegetables from the field. The Library Lounge serves a full menu along with drinks from a full-service bar.
Lied Lodge offers spa treatments, Arbor Day Farm wine tasting, a Discovery ride into the forest for nature viewing, the Arbor Lodge Historical Park, shopping, climbing into a 50-foot-tall tree house, walking wooded trails, and watching wildlife. It has a nature classroom, a sensory garden, and an original bowling alley located in the mansion. It serves apple cider slushies made from its farm apples.
With nature-inspired surroundings and an abundance of activities, Lied Lodge is perfect for family vacations, romantic getaways and events large or small.
