Great value for such a great area
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The suite was very large and spacious even for the one double bed room. The kitchen area and parts of the place are a little outdated but it was very clean and had a lot of amenities. It feels almost like an Airbnb minus someone else’s belongings around. If you go into it knowing that it’s not a four star brand new hotel room but definitely better than a dingy motel or hostel than you will not be disappointed. It’s a great value to be so close to Soho and TriBeCa area. Super close to train station to get to anywhere else and just a block away from great food places and shopping.
The bedding in my room was just sheets and one of those thin stiff quilted bedspreads. Luckily they had some extra throw blankets and extra sheets in the bedroom closet but if you are picky about your bedding might be aware or bring your own. But it wa clean and not terrible.
Perhaps I came at the wrong time of year - should have booked airbnb
+ Location was good. + Laundry on premises (paid) + Full kitchen in unit + Pretty clean
- Very few towels in the room, and they were small - No shower gel, only soap bar and shampoo - Hair dryer didn't function - Only rooms are air conditioned - Fitness center is purely nominal - cramped, with ULTRA low ceilings (7 ft?), packed with treadmills I couldn't use without banging my head against the ceiling, also it was a bit dusty, of course without mats and towels, and completely unusable because of intense heat due to lack of AC. I went for booking an hotel because I wanted a fitness center, and I ended up not being able to use it - so disappointed!
I liked the fell of the room. It was unlike the average hotel room. It felt more like a little apartment.
the only the I didn't like was that we had trouble with our key card. Somehow, it was deactivated a couple of times. No biggie.
Everything about this hotel was just great. Location, cleanliness, value, rooms, etc; but one of the best things was the staff. They were really nice and tried to help anyway possible. The hotel has a terrific location at walking distance of many interesting places in NY, We stayed a whole week there and felt the price was right for the services and facilities received.
No complaints at all, everything was great! Highly recommended.
Staff were disinterested and unhelpful. The hotel was very shabby, run down and I will never stay there again and definately not recommend.Very poor value
The staff was just great day and night..they knew the area and were able to able to offer help.......the room was spacious and very nice..close to little italy, chinatown and the vilage..we walked everywhere and felt safe..just loved the staff!!!!!!!! Gabe and "harry' watched over us (group of mature-aged women) like they were our guardian angels
No--it really went beyond expectations
The location to Soho, the staff, & the overall experience of staying in the nieghbourhood
The air conditioning unit nearly drove me nuts, it was too noisy & barely worked
This hotel doesn't prented to be what it's not. When we got there, we got exactly what we expected. It's the cheapest I have paid in manhattan but cleaner and cheaper than other hotels I've been to in NYC. It's 2 blocks from soho. At first the area could seem weird but we never felt unsafe and soho is rignt there with all the boutiques and restaurants. Plus, there's a really nice supermarket close by and the room has a kitchinette. Very very practical for people on a budget. But don't expect luxury.
The staff was pleasant.
There was only a window ac unit and the pull out was incredibly small. The whole "suite" wasn't really a suite at all it was soooo small and they didn't even have a coffee maker.
It was more space for the money than we could find anywhere else. The location was near many things in the downtown area, I was able to shorten our stay by two days without a problem, it was nice to have the kitchen, the bathroom was big, we got fresh towels every day, the air conditioner worked well, there was plenty of light, wifi in the room
The TV reception was awful, the rollaway bed had to go in the kitchen and we couldn't use the bed frame, it was too unstable, we put the mattress on the floor, there were very few in utensils, etc in the kitchen, but it was just enough.
Nothing really. It became just a place to sleep a few hours per night during ours stay in ny.
The airconditioning system did not work.it was a self catering suite, no kitchen cleaning products were available, no dishcloths either and only 4 drinking tumblers.
