The noise and no apology. There was obviously a massive problem in the bar the night I stayed. The police and ambulance service were present and I understand that one of the guests was arrested. I didn't get to sleep until gone 3am. Later that morning, I thought someone might of apologised for the comotion, but nothing came, except for, a very greasy breakfast, cooked by a young lady who was more concerned about having a smoke and constant chattering on her mobile phone and telling whoever she was talking to about the problems and drama of the night before. A disgusting experience and I might add, a frightnening one too.
This accomadation had recently been taken over by two young ladies. They were very pleasant and proffesional, polite and helpful. The food which was cooked and prepaired by a local chef, was exceptionaly good, the food was fresh and home made. Top marks!!
The premisses looks a little run down. But chatting with Kate and Clair, they told us that they were just about to have a complete refurbishment to be carried out within the next few weeks.
Friendly staff. Reasonable price.
Toilet in bedroom had not been cleaned. Light bulb missing from bedside lamp. Toilet and shower walls dirty. No bottled water available to purchase from bar.

Staff were friendly and I was made to feel comfortable
The freindly staff and landlords made you feel very welcome. Considering they have only recently taken on the Pub, they made us as customers feel very comfortable. The bar was relaxed and made more so having some sofas to lounge in. We really enjoyed our stay.
When we got into our room it did feel a little chilli, and could have been made to feel a bit more comfortable if had the choice of having the heating on if we so wished.
Clean. Friendly & helpful staff. Very quickly made a room available for our use even though the booking system had not passed on our reservation.
Booking service did not inform the hotel of our resevation
Extremely kind, hardworking and thoughtful proprietors. First class couple.
