Offering the perfect blend of mountain retreat and country village escape, the White Mountain Hotel and Resort is just minutes away from historic North Conway Village. With Echo Lake State Park and White Mountain National Forest both nearby, the hotel is a fun visit for guests year-round.

The 80-room hotel features a variety of room and suite options. However, guests can be assured that all rooms feature plenty of comfort. Every room and suite includes luxury Serta mattresses, Keurig coffee maker, Aveda bath amenities, and high definition televisions. Ideal for romance, the Superior Jacuzzi King Suite features a two-person jetted tub and a view perched over the cliff.

The on-site Ledges Restaurant serves all three meals during the day, including a free breakfast for overnight guests. However, the hotel touts that the Ledges free breakfast is not standard hotel fare. Instead the complimentary breakfast is a hot full American breakfast entrée off the menu with juice or coffee included. Another option on the property is the Irish-styled Tullamore Tavern, offering drinks, appetizers, and full lunch and dinner menu.

Activities are a signature of the White Mountain Hotel and Resort. A year-round heated pool and hot tub offer guests a quick way to unwind from busy days. The resort also is home to the Hale’s Location Golf Course. This 9-hole course has earned a reputation as one of the trickiest in the Mt. Washington Valley.

Pros (+) The staff was all friendly and helpful, breakfast was terrific, common area with fire comfortable, pool and hot tub so nice after having an active day. Love the afternoon cookies and morning coffee. Room was comfortable and clean.
Cons (-) The TV never worked but did not really miss it. The only issue was some rudeness by other guests in a tour but nothing the hotel could do about that. Will return soon.

Pros (+) Good value, great setting, friendly staff, excellent food.
Cons (-) The room doors are composite and allow hallway sound to pass through to room. Not a big deal, but we were by elevators and got a little noisy with the morning departures.

Pros (+) Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Beautiful quiet location. WiFi was very good, and free. We were able to stream Netflix with no problems.
Cons (-) Building was too hot. Old HVAC system was hard to control.
