Kudos to the kind lady at the front desk on duty in the daytime on 12 September 2019. Sorry can't recall her name. She went out of her way to check the room for my missing credit card. I enjoyed my stay and would return given the chance.

Pros: Clean. People nice
Cons: TV was out most of the time. They said because of wind. You should change your network. Internet I had to sign in all the time as it would kick me off. Water: you are economizing water, but I had to bath with cold water 3 times. The rest it took for ever for water to get warm. There are special attachments that you can put on your shower head that would provide hot water immediately. This way. Consider that.

Pros: The breakfast was okay. I'm not a waffle person. It would've been nice to have french toast as an option. I like that the hotel sat right on the corner. Easy to spot.
Cons: Not a lot of breakfast options. Limited space in the room we were in; bathroom area was very small. The heating/cooling system seems outdated.

Pros: We needed to stay one night before leaving Chicago. I found Fairfield Suites and was very pleasantly surprised. The check in staff was super nice, even at midnight! The hotel looked and just as important, smelled clean everywhere, which is so pleasant. It's so nice to walk the halls and feel like everything is clean and nice. The room was super and the beds were comfortable. It was a perfect respite to a long weekend that hadn't been so pleasant.

Pros: The room was immaculate. The bed was super comfortable. The climate control was superb. The housekeeping and hotel staff were excellent and accommodating.
Cons: The only reason I did not give an “exceptional” rating is because there was no pool or hot tub. However, I failed to look for that option since I allowed my partner to do the search. I would stay at this hotel again especially during the colder season.
7.5 Good
Pros: Location!
Cons: There was no ice machine on the 2nd floor. We have to go to the 3rd floor for ice.

Pros: On Friday morning, there was scrambled eggs, bananas and yogurt, all of which I enjoy for breakfast. all three items were missing on the next two mornings. I certainly didn't starve, there was a good selection, but I did miss scrambled eggs and yogurt.

Pros: Perfect if you just want a clean place to sleep while visiting Chicago. Free parking, free wifi, AC, and comfortable bed. Quiet room.

Pros: Great location. Impressive rates and accomodation. Will definitely be booking again.
Cons: Difficult to enter.
6.3 Good
Pros: The price was competitive with other motels in the area. It was clean, and the staff were very nice.
Cons: It was noisy, both from the outside (Harlem Avenue traffic, restaurant next to motel) and from inside (thin walls made it easy to hear people in adjoining rooms). The clothes rack was located over the refrigerator and microwave oven, making it almost impossible to hang up clothes in my room. It was advertised that there was a snack vending machine. There was none. The one non-caffeinated diet drink (excluding water) in the beverage vending machine had non-diet soda in it.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Conveniently located to MDW airport and and hour away from Downtown. Several eating places around. The place do not server breakfast or any meals. That is the downside which I could not mark in above questionnaire. Overall decent place to stay will clean toilet and well functioning shower.
Cons: No option for Breakfast
5.0 Okay
Pros: Too bad I couldn’t rate the room a Fair plus or good minus. The room appeared clean with an overwhelming smell of cleaner. The only other person I saw staying at the hotel was pretty sketchy. No amenities which is ok for the price. We stayed because it was close to the airport and it got really good reviews. Would I stay again? Probably not. I’d probably spend a little more and upgrade to another hotel. The front office person was bland. He did his job but there was no enthusiasm or any effort to make me feel valued. I was nothing more than a sale.
Cons: See above. I listed my complaints as well as other comments there.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Convenient location to the airport. Good staff. Lots of eating places nearby. Overall good value for money.
Cons: There is no breakfast option in the place. We had to walk 15 mins to subway/panera bread etc. for breakfast. If the place offered breakfast, it would be great.

Pros: Having breakfast every morning at McDonalds, 30 meters away, and having a chat with retired neighborhood residents who are McDonalds goers. Quite safe roads to walk and run. The motel warden was helpful upon arrival showing enough attention and relevance.
Cons: Employees are doing their best in cleaning. But the materials are so old that you can clean up as much as you want and you cannot remove the old dirt for years. I didn't feel safe in the room at all. There were constantly different insects in the bathroom. The hole in the next room had been closed with towels.

Cons: Everything the bed was uncomfortable. You could see through our door definitely dont stay here in the winter time you will freeze. Also not for families you can flip through the channels and find porn. I will not stay here again.

Pros: Manager (Jackie) was excellent in every way, as was the staff.
Cons: N/A
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: NA
Cons: The room your website provided us was absolutley deplorable, subpar, & unacceptable. As soon as we opened the door we were greeted with an Overwhelming odor of fresh paint. There was no trash can or any other amenity in sight. While trying to diffuse the intense paint fume odor we realized we could open the hotel window all the way, which concerns me as a liability for those with small children. Then we noticed the open and uncapped bucket of paint just sitting out which is extremely hazardous. After my boyfriend and i discussed possible solutions, we saw that we were elligible for a room upgrade due to the perks of our membership level. After informing the manager on duty about the disturbing condition of the room, we requested a room change, but instead we were greeted with condescending looks and remarks of disbelief. We were told to wait while the manager checked that their room was concurrent with what we told her. Upon her return we were informed they were going through Renovations and denied any possiblity of a room change on our floor. Since we were denied any form of compensation, We asked to atleast have a trash can for the room. unsure that they would even grant us that small Courtesy due to their Negligent service thus far we waited for her return. Ok our walk back to our room, trash bin in Hand , we observed other patrons sitting in the hallway because the Wi-Fi didn’t work in their rooms. After arriving at our door We discovered our key no longer worked, adding more frustration to our already frivolous night. We were Dreading going back to the manager to receive more incompetent services. Using our new key card we finally settled into our paint scented room, And both agreed weve never felt this insignificant and were disappointed with our choice of booking. We are requesting a refund on our room in the form of credit towards our booking.com wallet since our room upgrade perk was not applicable.

Cons: They don't offer breakfast
7.0 Good
Pros: relatively close to the venue we were attending
Cons: Even though we had reserved a King-size bed room all that was available (according to the front desk attendant) was a 2-single bed room. In addition, we had to wait about 10 minutes before any one appeared to check us in.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Manager refunded my money.
Cons: When I was attacked by bed bugs in the middle of the night.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Renovations were poorly done, water was turned off without notice, beds did not look as if the bedding were changed
7.1 Good
Pros: Dog friendly and close to parks and reservoirs, while only 35 min away from downtown Chicago.
Cons: Felt a bit dingy and plain with no frills, but expected for the price.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The Front Desk Clerk was very accommodating and very nice my she upgrade my room to a queen that was very comfortable, quiet, and nice. She worked nights I didn't get her name (I was tired and checked in late sorry) but I was very relaxed and would recommend the hotel due to her accommodations.
Cons: There was a sign in the room that said to conserve on water the towels are not changed daily, but the beds are made up daily. I hung up my towels so they would dry and didn't put them on the floor so there would be no misunderstanding that I would be using the towels already in my room. My bed was not made and there were fresh towels which I was okay with but I wanted my bed made and could've kept the towels I had.
7.9 Good
Pros: Breakfast - I was not aware there was one . . . . The reason you choose these motels/hotels are Based on Price - so I just wanted a CLEAN room and Hot Shower and Security. I did not expect a 5 Star experience as I would be only spending time to sleep and shower. The motel is under going a remodel . . . which did not interfere with my stay. Staff was nice and very understanding - But I brought it to their attentions the door to my room 226 would not close properly. I brought it up both days of my stay. They said they will bring it to maintenance's attention . . .not sure if they did as no repairs were made while I was there.
Cons: Arriving after dark and pulling into the property was a little intimidating due to the large number of folks hanging out in front of both entrances. Many were smoking and drinking while other seemed to be dealing. They did not solicit us as I am sure we did not fit their customer profile. The next day it was very evident of the shady activities allowed to happen on the property. It appeared as if some of them were residents and not short time guest. The next morning we were Solicited by Hooker in Rm 105 and drugs up in Rm 305, but once they heard our lack of interest . . . they did not bother us.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The location was good. The girl that checked us in was very pleasant. Changed our room for us because the first one wreaked like smoke. Supplied us with a trash can and a t.v. remote after we requested one. The maid on our first morning was pleasant and supplied us with toilet paper when I asked her for some kleenex. They don't have kleenex.
Cons: The whole motel was a joke and we don't know how they are allowed to have people stay there. There are people hanging around the lobby/counter and outside that look homeless; smoking, yelling, swearing and walking around all hours until 1 or 2 a.m. There was no breakfast or coffee; they said to keep costs down. No toiletries. The room was damp and wet feeling. The tile floors were slippery. The beds have plastic over the mattresses so the covers slide off. The beds slide around the floor on the tile. No pictures on the walls; looks like a prison. T.V. was flashy with no remote, had to request one. The doors stick in the frame and had to be slammed or pulled oped hard; which is all you hear people doing all hours of the night. The light switches were filthy, slanted, and loose; they just put new covers over them. The fire sprinklers, if even work, had no covers over them allowing dust and water from the shower to get up into the electrical. Would be surprised if the smoke detectors or alarms even work. The hotel is a complete fire hazard. The windows whistled all night because of the wind. Poorly constructed or repaired. So disappointed. Stayed here 6 years ago when it was a Days Inn and the rooms were beautiful. Not sure how you can remodel a motel and make it look and feel worse. It is a sad place, should be used to house the homeless for free. It is a shame we had to even pay. Got no sleep either night; people carrying on outside, doors slamming, dogs barking, people up and down the hallways knocking on doors, and having to keep checking our vehicles to see if they were safe. I will be writing to corporate.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was spacious and well organized. I also enjoyed how the a/c unit cooled down the room in a jiffy. I like sleeping in an ice cold room. Very well satisfied.
Cons: The bed should come with at least 3-4 pillows since they are on the small side.
6.0 Good
Pros: The hotel was easy to get to off the interstate. The staff was very cooperative in the fact that we needed to leave our travel trailer there while we attended the Cubs' game. It was also close to shopping/dining locations.
