Hotel staff extremely friendly, speaks good English, and very helpful throughout the stay. Hotel is centrally located in Oberammergau with easy walking access to many restaurants.

This hotel was located right in the heart of Oberammergau and surrounded with lots of cafes and shops. While the building is several hundred years old, the interior has been updated beautifully and everything (bedding, carpet, furniture) is fresh and very clean. Our room had a lovely balcony overlooking the square. The bathroom was completely up-to-date and even included a receptacle wired for 120V with a US-style socket. Parking passes were provided by the hotel and we had no problem finding a spot right around the side of the building. All in all, this is just the right combination of cozy and historic with modern conveniences at a very reasonable price.
