Top tips for finding the perfect Macau hotel

Macau is known for having a high concentration of casinos, making it a great place to visit if you’re looking for quality gambling. The MGM Macau is a luxury 5-star casino hotel next to the Zhujiang River, while the Waldo Hotel is a more affordable option near the Downtown area with an on-site casino.
If you’re visiting Macau on a budget, choose a hotel that offers free amenities, such as shuttle services, free breakfast, and complimentary parking. The Grand Lisboa Macau Hotel is a three-minute walk from the Van Nam Lake and offers a complimentary shuttle bus that makes stops throughout the region. The Crowne Plaza is alongside the South China Sea and offers free parking.
For travelers who would like to stay in an area with many attractions and restaurants, opt for a hotel in the Macau Peninsula, such as the Harbourview Hotel. The Macau Peninsula is the oldest neighborhood in the area, and it contains many popular sights, including the Church of St. Paul and the Macau Museum of Art.
Hoping to experience Macau’s vibrant nightlife? If so, choose a hotel in the neighborhood of Cotai, like the Four Seasons Hotel. Cotai is a newer neighborhood that is packed with bars, clubs, and casinos, including Club Cubic and The Macallan Whisky Bar & Lounge.
If you’d like to learn about Macau’s local history, book a hotel near the Museum of Macau, like the Holiday Hotel, which is only a four-minute walk from the museum. The Museum of Macau contains many exhibits that feature artifacts and information pertinent to Macau’s history as a former Portuguese colony, and how it grew to be the region it is today.

Pro " Outstanding standards of suites luxury standards and the staff services. Experienced in various suites staying experiences Ritz Carlton Macau offered the most 5 star+ experience to us amongst the others that the staff services must take account for the contribution to the total guest experiences. There is a subtle refinement between "excellent services" and "always endeavouring their best" and the staff from Ritz-Carlton Macau achieved the latter. "
Con " While guests may pay to choose the hotel brand, but never be able to choose the accompanying neighbouring guests. Surprising the chunky door of the suite did not soundproof much and other guests do come and go during 12am to 4am after having fun in the casino or with alcohols. I was working overnight so kind of worried my family got bothered in their dreams. "

Pro " Everything was perfect. Location is great if your main purpose of the trip is to relax and hang out in the shopping centers/casinos/hotels, as the hotel is located inside the Cotai Central, which houses three other hotels as well as a good variety of shops and restaurants. It is also connected to the Parisian and the Venetian via skywalk, so you never have to step outside if you want to go check out other shops and food places. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating; they let us check in early, even though it was a few hours prior to the check-in time, and whenever we asked them questions, they tried their best to get us the right answers as soon as possible. Breakfast was amazing with a lot of options. We would love to return to Conrad Macao for our next visit to Macao. "
