The AC was broken so the hotel was totally hot. The hotel definitely needs a remodel plus things are broke such as the bathtub water ran 24/7. On a good note the location was good even though the parking lot is small.

Dated but well located in downtown. Walkable to capital and many restaurants and theaters. Clean and well maintained. Decent breakfast. We would stay there again.

The rooms have not been updated much since 1978. The bathrooms are original. The pool and gym are permanently closed. The elevators are very slow. But the location can't be beat!

Pros (+) Good location, staff was friendly. Great view.
Cons (-) It was dingy, we were told we’d get an “upgrade “, but the room was mediocre and dingy. Plus there were people partying next to and across from us until 4am, and they were very loud. I did call the front desk and they took care of it but it was still annoying. Breakfast was mediocre at best.

Pros (+) The room was very clean, and the underground parking facility was safe and well-lit. Getting into the lobby from the parking lot was easy. Reserving the room and checking in/out with Hotel Tonight app was the easiest process I've experienced yet. This hotel was a great value for the rate I paid.
Cons (-) I was disappointed that the hotel did not offer continental breakfast, even though it was attached to a restaurant, which was surprisingly closed at 9 in the morning. The hotel desk staff could also have been a bit friendlier.

Pros (+) a very comfortable bed that was welcome after driving halfway across the country. at check-in, there was a mistake with my booking (on the part of the third-party website i used), but the folks at the front desk didn't blink an eye and fixed it immediately. breakfast was pretty standard. location was perfect for walking to the downtown events we were attending.
Cons (-) the a/c couldn't keep up with the 90-degree highs, so when the sun was on our side of the building, the curtains had to remain closed and even then it was like a greenhouse in our room. luckily we weren't there most of the daylight hours. the elevators are a bit old and slow. wish there was a pool.
