Beautiful and peaceful
Milk in rooms and English tea would be lovely
Setting was good. Lovely pool area. Food in restaurant was excellent.
So beautiful and luxurious! The views are spectacular and the whole property is decorated exquisitely. The room was very nice and comfortable and the staff was really friendly and helpful. They all spoke English very well so it was easy for us to communicate! We loved the pool area in the vineyard - the highlight of our stay there! We also loved the location as we spent a lovely time exploring nearby Rodez, Cascade Salles la Source, Salles Courbaties, Figeac and the Foissac caves (a must see!!). We also enjoyed getting to meet the other guests staying on the property.
It’s a bit expensive - worth the experience, but just be prepared to pay for it. Breakfast is €15 euros each, and though we loved that we were able to access a stocked fridge 24/7, it was €4 for a coca-cola and about €25 to open a bottle of wine (which is great though, they make it there from their grapes!). We unfortunately didn’t love dinner at the restaurant, though that’s possibly more just from the fact that we were fairly new to French cuisine. Lastly, we were on our honeymoon and though we got a nice room we were a bit disappointed that we didn’t really get any recognition for that. I think in the US we’re more used to getting a small upgrade or gift/at least a note of congratulations.
So much. Great restaurant. Fantastic tranquil pool setting. Spa with view lounge areas and all admist rolling hills and country outlook. Staff lovely. Setting lovely food lovely will definately be back
There were a lot of flies in the room. There was no air conditioning. So I guess windows had been open for a while to cool it down. So before we settled down I needed to kill about 25 flies. Otherwise everything was perfect
Unspoilt traditional feel Beautiful countryside
No air conditioning but we expected this as we were in a very old room
