Pros (+) There was a good number of amenities, the location is pretty convenient, and the television in the room was quite large. The staff were nice.
Cons (-) Minimal thermostat control, layout of the room was claustrophobic, the breakfast buffet was not terribly appetizing.

Pros (+) The staff is very nice and helpful, even if you don't speak any Japanese. You can keep your luggage at the hotel before and after checking in or out.
Cons (-) Japan is tight on space, so be prepared for a small room. If the bed was a little higher off the ground suitcases could fit easily. The step out of the bathroom is nearly a foot drop, I fell out of the bathroom a bunch of times.
