Air con leaked all night, dinner not that great
Very friendly staff. Beautiful riad. Modern but still with lots of Moroccan details. We loved it! Unfortunately is was too cold for swimming but the garden, pool and lounge are amazingly beautiful.
Wifi was great during the day when the other guests were out, in the evening the wifi was not so strong anymore (but still beter than lots of other places we stayed at).
We had a friendly welcome by the friendly and, of course, the mint tea. The location is not so easy to find but as a half way from Marrakesh to Merzouga Desert, we recommend the stay. Lovely view from our room and when it is warmer, the swimming pool is a plus.
Maybe during dinner we could have at least 2 options to choose as a menu. For a new hotel, maybe an elevator for seniors or disable people would be nice - but we understand most of Riads/Small hotels in Morrocos dont offer elevators.
In contrast of the very pure and maybe even poor direct area the hotel is a bubble of relaxation. Great pool area. Rooms were more than ok. Shower is very good. Dinner in the hotel was nice. Staff was frienly.
Service at the pool could make the bubble experience even better.
The entrance of the riad is very nice , so is the pool area . The staff are very nice. They upgraded us to a superior room.
Evening set menu was very poor. Hospital food is much better in my opinion . Beds were a bit hard and rooms very basic tough they upgraded us with a superior room
The charming hotel is located in southern Morocco, in the city of Ouarzazate, known as the gateway to the desert, and in Berber it means 'without noise'. It is close to the mountains of the Atlas and the Draa River valley, and is the ideal starting point for excursions into the Draa, Dades and Souss valleys, and to Zagora, Erfoud and Tineghir. Guests will find shops, restaurants, bars, nightlife, links to the public transport network, a bus station, the kasbah and the Museum of Cinema in the city centre, approximately 3 km from the family-friendly hotel. Guests can also easily travel to other cities, such as Marrakech, Ait Ben Haddou (35 km) or Agadir, from the hotel, and Ouarzazate Airport is around 4 km away. The hotel is a wonderful example of craftsmanship and the use of typical Moroccan materials. Guests are welcomed in a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out services, currency exchange facilities and a cloakroom. Hot water is provided by solar power, and the hotel features gardens with native vegetation, and a patio with a fountain. The hotel is air-conditioned throughout and has an area with free WLAN Internet access for customers. Further facilities available to guests at the 20-room hotel include a TV lounge, a breakfast/dining room, room service, a car park. The rooms are spacious and well-decorated, and all are equipped with a shower, toilet and bath towels. Each room features a double bed, Internet access, individually regulated air conditioning and heating, and a private balcony in some of them. The riad offers an outdoor swimming pool and a sun terrace with parasols. The hotel will assist in helping guests book tours, and hire cars, bicycles or quads from reputable agencies. The riad offers bed and breakfast, half-board and full-board stays. Lunch and dinner are also served a la carte and guest may alternatively select their dinner from a set menu.
