Pros:They had a room on a no-vacancy night in Ouray in peak aspen viewing season. Had been traveling on business and elected to stay in the mountain town for hot springs there, booking earlier that day. Important note: The remaining single-bed room was in a separate area of living quarters apart from the other rooms. I cannot speak to their quality. Shower/toilet facility seemed newly remodeled and were clean & functional.
Cons:Dirty carpet. Crudely built plywood bed box. Dangerous, unlit exterior stairway made of expanded metal. Access to room required walking down darkened sidewalk, through a gate & courtyard, up the stairs & up another steep stairway. Traipsing through personal quarters where the occupant was moving in and had stuff everywhere. Loud conversation, barking dog and ringing phones until 10:30 or later just outside my door. Hair dryer and radio sparked as I plugged them in. Both seemed to have faulty switches.
