Anyway, the staff were really polite and the location was superb! It was only not worth the price they're charging for a small room with no facilities.
For the peice I'd say you don't get much. Also the Sona & Gym were being renovated and normally you'd expect offers or discounts for not having things that made the hotel receive 5 stars.

Room 507: - the outlet of the air conditioning blows right on the bed, not very nice - one issue with the bathroom, after my morning's shower it smelled bad in the room - I informed the receptionist when I left the hotel

Overview
The five-star Hotel Banke is located in the centric and glamorous Opera neighborhood of Paris. The ideal location gives guests a close proximity to important Parisian landmarks, such as Place Vendôme, the Louvre or the Sacré-Cœur Basilica at Montmartre. Settled in an early 20th century building designed by the French architects Paul Friesé and Joseph Cassien-Bernard, the hotel presents a mixture of styles while maintaining the essence of the building’s history. Once the headquarters of a bank, it was refurbished in 2009 to be converted into the hotel it is today. Upon entering the hotel one steps into the astonishing lobby that stands out for the wide open space, the ceiling’s glass dome and the roman-style floor mosaic, as well as the mix of red and gold accents. A total of 90 individually decorated rooms and suites, with a combination of carefully selected materials, high-quality designer furniture and an exclusive art collection that result in unique spaces.
