That's what you get in peoria
Most of them that I've stayed in before were way nicer, but in bigger cities and had many more amenities but for peoria il, it was okay, had a pool and free breakfast bar in the morning, could have more food for the bf bar though, it is in a somewhat convient area, if i would have found the wingate or holiday inn express before, i defiently would have chosen them first, or almost any other nicer place for that matter. The room was decent sized, but not what i would consider a suite.. house cleaning didnt do a very good job and had to call and ask numerous times before they came up. Only one person of the staff that I met was friendly, the others seemed stuck up and rude, which I find very odd for a cheap end hotel people at the Trump, or Caesers palace, langham, plazzo, Venetian, waldorf astoria, didn't even act like that, they could at least do their job and make people feel comfortable, or valuable for that matter. They, all but one, didn't seem professional or take their job seriously. Very dissatisfied with the services. Won't recommend to friends family or co-workers.

They need new management new employees and maybe air out rooms from a smoke and musty smell. Stayed for 5 days and am very unhappy. All but one person needs to stay working there.

Clean hotel with great value, and friendly staff
Staff was very friendly at check in. This was my only interaction with another person at the hotel. The building overall is a little old, but it is still in good condition, and I felt safe, and the rooms were clean. Upon getting to my room, I was pleased with how large the room was, as well as the bathroom. There is good work space and a couch. I didn't use the pool so I can't speak to that. I booked based solely on price, and thought I could roll the dice based on the mixed reviews, which after staying here, many negative ones are unfair. I will definitely remember this location for my travels to Peoria.
The only negative is that they are working on their kitchen remodel, so they don't have breakfast set up; however, they did offer free breakfast at Perkins, which is in the same lot (maybe 50 steps from the hotel). So it's really not a negative as they make an attempt to accommodate. I did notice a "smell" in the hallway, but it smelled like a cleaning agent and not "urine" like some of the other posters.
