Location was excellent, close to historic city center and good restaurants. Breakfast was very good. Comfortable room. Very friendly staff. The front desk was able to get us in well before normal check in time at no extra cost.
I chose this property over similar properties based upon "spa" and "sauna" on site. There is an exercise room up a tiny stairway from 7th floor to the 8th floor. It was pretty standard hotel exercise room. The sauna was in this same area, but you have to talk to the front desk to get it operational. The tiny spiral staircase and needing to contact the desk were not worth the hassle for us to actually use the sauna. Not sure what might have been considered "spa" at this facility.
Location ideal for Old Town, parking nearby. Staff very helpful and friendly.
Can be very noisy as soundproofing of rooms is not great, room doors have no soft close so bang shut every time someone enters or leaves.
Cleaning staff did not properly close our door (after doing a good job) Our room was right next to lift so we consider ourselves lucky nothing was taken.
Room small but well equipped and the bed was comfortable. Location is in the centre of things, couldn't be better. The main Christmas market was only a few metres away. A bit hard to find initially, as the roads are a maze. Breakfast was excellent. Totally worth the 15 euros each. I was expecting just a continental spread, but there were hot dishes too. Everything seemed fresh and high quality. What I really liked was that the cold meats, cheeses, butters, fruits and yogurts were all kept refrigerated, especially as the breakfast was offered until 11am. Staff were friendly and attentive.
The room was a bit too warm at night, despite the air conditioner control. Nice to have an electric kettle, but the paper cups were very flimsy. Don't expect a line-up of toiletries - just soap, shoe sponge and sewing kit. The doors close noisily, so we heard all the other guests entering and leaving.
breakfast was fine limited cakes on offer (only 1 cup cake available)
