At first glance I was a little concerned with the up keep of the outside of the building. However, shortly there after I discovered that the hotel is going through a transition in ownership and that the new ownership is focusing on making the rooms cleaner and more comfortable for the guests. I was assigned one of the renovated rooms, and I found it to be as pleasant as any other place I’ve stayed in similar circumstances. I would definitely stay here again, and I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Good for a nite....
The location is good. The property seemed clean other than what’s mentioned below.
My room wasn’t clean when I arrived. The bed was a mess. Towels were piled in the bath tub. I told housekeeping but they didn’t seem that interested. The bed was a Sleep Number but didn’t work. Hard as a rock.
Comfortable stay
The hotel itself was very nice. The carpeting in the common areas was a bit stained and looked dirty but the room was very clean. The bed was a sleep number so we had to have maintenance come up to show us how to use it but agree we figured it out it was a very comfortable sleep. The only draw back was the parking garage. It's next to the hotel Ave it dues not appear to be cuteness regularly. There was quite a bit of trash on the ground and the stairwells were dirty as well. Other than that, the stay was nice.
Parking garage and common area carpeting were dirty.
Run down and it smelled horrible. The heating and cooling is outdated was the worse night spent in a hotel
Cleanliness!
Overall not bad, but not going back
The staff was friendly & helpful.
The TV reception and the wifi were terrible. When I notified the staff they said the problems were throughout the hotel and it happened at various times during my stay.
Great value
The staff particularly Patricia was incredibly helpful. Very convenient to ASU and fine dining. The beds and room are quite comfortable. We liked it so much we stayed three nights in a ten day period. Great breakfast offerings
Leaking ice machine on third floor
Nice but parking garage a little scary
Room was very clean, liked the layout, flat screen tv, breakfast good with hot food, waffles, etc. nice business center with free printing (printed my boarding passes there). Close to airport, Walgreens, staples.
Parking garage was dirty and fairly dark. I was really watching as I traveled through it because there were plenty of places for someone to hide. Access to it was only via street sidewalk. Stairway inside of garage was especially sketchy and looked like homeless people had been staying in it.
Location was good especially for business travelers. Very close to monorail and quite a few restaurants nearby.
Dated, could use new carpet especially.
Great Value!
Friendly staff, clean rooms, and a decent breakfast. Convenient location, close to airport.
Disappointed
Room layout and breakfast included.
Noise level. Loud elevator. Also very low water pressure in bathroom sink. Not as nice as other Wyndham hotel we had stayed at. Our room's refrigerator was missing.
Breakfast here is always a good selling point. Scrabled eggs are difficult for large buffets and, at most similarly priced hotels, they will often go with runny reconstituted powder eggs. But, not here! Eggs were very good every day... as was everything else. A little variety each day would have been appreciated. But, generally speaking, the breakfast included in our rate was greatly appreciated... Pool area is nice, as well as the shaded patio area...
The thing that bugged me the most about this place is that there was a huge party on the hotel grounds outside right under our window on our last night there. The music was so loud, we couldn't possibly drown it out with our TV volume and there was no possible way to actually try to go to sleep. It lasted at least until midnight, and, even though I often am up well past midnight myself on a Saturday night when at home, I needed to get up early to get family to the airport that following Sunday morning. Seems like everyone in my party had a terrible night's sleep, regardless of which side of the hotel their room was on. Unbelievable that management sanctioned such an event outside at night without thinking of the consequences of how it would affect the people staying there that night! And, what's worse was that when I approached the front desk about it at checkout the next day, theyoung lady said, "We don't usually have that happen..." Yeah, no kidding! If they did, no one would ever stay there on a Saturday night!! How about a little compensation for our inconvenience? Nope. Can't do it because we booked our room through KAYAK. What? Crazy... The bed was terrible. One side sunk in practically to the box frame. If they were adjustable mattresses, we didn't know it. No controls visible on either nightstand nor were there any placards indicating that the bed could be adjusted and that the controls were available in the nightstand drawer or on the side of the box frame or wherever...
