Excellent location. Nice breakfast included in the room rate. But overall the hotel is too expensive considering the quality of the services offered.
Staff very useless and unfriendly. We were received by a very rude man, actually the night guard, who did not speak any English. He refused to give us a parking permit although we had a reservation and it was not for free. We had to leave the car on a parking reserved for local people risking to get a fine. Next day we obtained a permit for 14 euro/day. Staff was again useless when asked why the pugs in the room are not working. We had to discover ourselves that all the plugs are linked to the light switchers and when turning off the light you actually cut off the current. The so called luxury room is actually a 3 stars hotel room with cheap furniture and ugly decorations meant to give a classic look. The outcome is in no way a luxury room

We loved the charming rooms with leaded glass windows, a sitting room and large bathroom. Our view of the castle is best most beautiful view we have ever had from a hotel room. The u Pava was great. The breakfast was very nice too.

The day staff was exceptionally helpful. The breakfast was varied, plentiful, and tasty.
The climb up to our rooms on the 3rd floor! I realize that if we had reserved the higher priced room, we would have had the benefit of the elevator. However, we would be quite breathless by the time we reached our floor. Please put a chair on each landing for us "elders", who might need to take a rest.
