6.0 Good
Pros: The grounds around the pool were very nice and it had a beautiful pool.

Pros: Good size studio with excellent views of Mo'orea. Had everything we needed. Close to the airport but sufficiently far away to not notice any planes
7.0 Good
Pros: The pool area was great. The air conditioning and space in the room was great. There were restaurants and a market within walking distance. Close to airport and port terminals. Having a kitchen to prepare our own food/snacks was wonderful.
Cons: The floors were so dirty we couldn't walk around barefoot. The toilet in our room ran continually and the floor outside the toilet was warped like it had overflowed before. Having our bedroom be where people walk was noisy and not private.
7.0 Good
Pros: The pool was great, the donut boat and snorkel gear was was awesome. I think my favourite was out of the four hotels I visited in Moorea and Tahiti you were the only to serve coconut and it was fresh and delicious and made my day
Cons: I didn't like the strength of our air condition it wasn't cold enough and also no channels that we could do English subtitles or an English channel to keep up with the news. I did wan't to watch TV and wouldn't mind subtitles but I couldn't access it. I also didn't like how one of the guests was sunbathing nude quite publicly in front of children I don't know if it's allowed there it was not what I wasn't to see if there was a area they can do that separately?
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Meals were excellent at the lagoon cafe and restaurant!!!. Room was a great size and very clean. Loved how we could get shuttle into city for shopping and that water activities were available to book from the resort. Our snorkel trip was fabulous...even though we found no turtles or dolphins.
Cons: Garden Suite room is too dark by late afternoon. Needs more lights or lamps as reading was difficult. Air conditioning - needs more explanation/ information on how it works and how to work the remote.
5.0 Okay

Cons: Nothing.
6.0 Good
Cons: Restaurant was closed
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The quiet and the view
Cons: The bathroom. Needs updating.
7.0 Good
Pros: This hotel is a reasonably priced spot for travellers arriving around midnight which reflects many of the flights from New Zealand, Hawaii, Easter Island, Santiago etc. Not necessary to pay for an expensive resort when you can't check in at a normal time and leave at 10 AM. After, you can go wherever. Hotel is a training ground for local people as noted on their website. The rooms are good, clean, comfortable and the air con makes is good - quite quiet.
Cons: Staff in the restaurant have almost no English so communication is a bit of a problem. Breakfast is good (except for really bad coffee) but when you wish to explain you want poached or fried eggs etc. it is a problem. This is a French speaking country of course but this is an area the hotel needs to work on.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, room, view, nice staff. Breakfast was nicely done and excellently served.
Cons: 1) Some guy was blowing leaves near our window from 7:10 AM to 8:00 AM. Noise inside reached 75 dB! Sleep was completely ruined. 2) Extra charge for WiFi internet. 3) Need for separate deposite exposing credit card number on paper.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room and staff were absolutely amazing. You can have continental or American breakfast for an extra cost, which I think is absolutely worth it. Also, I love the concept of this hotel. From what I understand, some of the staff are students studying nearby at the hospitality university, and everyone was extremely friendly and professional.
Cons: Honestly... Nothing. Everything was great.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: There was no soap the night we arrived, the staff brought it to us the next morning. After 27 hours of flight, you need to wash yourself... but that was the only negative point...

Located in Punaauia, Pension de la Plage is a 3-minute drive from Museum of Tahiti and 13 minutes from Papeete Market. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. Guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle for a surcharge, and free self parking is available onsite.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: A good, small pool- available to use at any time. Very courteous staff and host.
Cons: A few more items in the kitchen would have been helpful e.g a small and large sharp knife. I’m sure there would be one available if we asked for one though.
7.5 Good
Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful staying up late to let us check in at midnight. The layout of the property was very good and the pool excellent.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely setting in a famy run lodge with about 12 units. We had a self-catering with fridge, microwave and hob. Fantastic snorkeling beach across the road (you need fins) easy walk to shops and supermarkets. Booked us a great trip over the mountains.. Tahiti expedition in a 4x4. Friendly dogs, cats and sometimes chickens roam around giving it a relaxed family affair and this adds to its charm. It is next to a busy road but this calms down overnight. Would definitely come again to this gem.. It was fully booked or we would have stayed so its not just me who loves it!
Cons: The beds are not very comfortable.
7.5 Good
Pros: The property manager was waiting for us for the check in.
Cons: Complicated to walk outside the property without a car.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Easy and friendly check-in, comfortable room (simple and straightforward, just what we wanted). We were in a "mountain view" room at the back of the property, and street noise wasn't noticeable. Plenty of services nearby (walking distance or a very short drive). Nice fresh-water pool in which to cool off. Lots of information provided by the owners... there's a binder in both French and English in the room. You can walk across the main road (there's a crosswalk), through a small parking lot, along a sandy access lane, and find yourself at Toaroto beach... calm water, good for snorkeling and swimming, and with a sunset view of Moorea and the over-water bungalows of the Meridien that has to be seen to be believed (it's a picture-postcard-perfect image of Tahiti). There's even a shower here to rinse off the salt. Then, walk south along the beach for 30 seconds to the Sunset restaurant (great fish dinners!). To sum it up: a nice, friendly, casual place for a couple or family to stay for a day or three, in a location close to a really wonderful beach.
Cons: Can't think of anything. It's a somewhat older facility but that seemed to add to its charm.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Kindly upgraded us to have 2 connecting rooms which made it much easier for our family of 6
9.2 Excellent
Pros: It was clean and comfortable, Vincent and his staff very friendly and there was a good breakfast.
Cons: No kettle!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing property. Fun friendly staff. Comfy beds , good showers. Great views
Cons: No complaints. Property could use a decent maintenace guy. Lots of missing tils arpund pool area and around our tub. These are easy cheap fixes. A little grout a few tiles. Otherwise awesome place. I know were out in the middle of nowhere but $95 for food
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The overwater bungalow was amazing!
Cons: Food and drink were expensive and service was not the greatest considering the price point.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location - near the airport and to town. Liked the shuttle service into town. Super helpful staff at the front desk and in activities area. Beautiful grounds, vistas, and settings for viewing sunsets.
Cons: Some staff in the restaurant could be a little more service oriented.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Stunning views, great location, friendly staff
Cons: The bed was as hard as sleeping on a piece of plywood-very uncomfortable; the sheets were 'rough'; otherwise the room was great!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful views and super convenient to and from the international airport.
Cons: Drinks like in the rest of French Polynesia can be quite expensive
5.1 Okay
Pros: It was in Tahiti. There was a good restaurant on site
Cons: When we opened the sliding doors, the ceiling tiles bounced with the wind. Our bags weren't brought to our room. We got there before checking time and getting a drink was a challenge as we didn't want to wade up to the bar in the pool in our street clothes. We were only staying there twelve hours between flights

Pros: It was 5 minute walk from the airport. We also to the supermarket.
7.0 Good
Pros: Great airport location, but it's exactly that, an airport hotel. Very basic, but fine for a quick overnight.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: It was very close to the airport. The hotel staff asked if we wanted a wake up call and if we needed a taxi upon leaving. We received our wake up call on time and our Taxi arrived at the requested time. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet.
Cons: No
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very pleasant and quickly learned the customer names.
Cons: Not easy to get luggage up their stairs. One of the stairs in the lobby should be made into a ramp. Would also be nice for some of the rooms to have a balcony.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Across the street from the airport. Staff was nice enough.
Cons: Finding the entrance was a nightmare. Especially at night. Breakfast was an old croissant and cereal. Worst was the bed bugs everywhere. Super gross.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: This motel is very close to the airport -so great especially when you fly in so late
Cons: The price seemed a bit high
4.6 Okay
Pros: Proximity to airport
Cons: Unfriendly staff Mediocre breakfast Difficult access
5.0 Okay
Pros: Proximity to airport.
Cons: Room was under-equipped. Not enough towels and no hair dryer. Also no restaurant as advertised.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Close to Airport but far from shopping area. No restaurant or services close by
Cons: People attitude and ways to deal with tourists that come only there waiting for their flight
1.0 Poor
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: I was cheated. I paid Several times for the same room. The room was too hot. The early morning desk staff was rude to us and the lady was making fun of us with the cleaning staff. Seemed like they had nothing to do although they could not get our room ready timely Never had such an awful experience.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Views over Moorea island. Located in front of the airport.
Cons: Walkway from/to the airport is very steep, the pavement is very rough and has MANY steps. We were hoping to walk to the airport to catch an early flight but we ended up ordering a taxi to avoid carrying large suitcase through this route..
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Close to airport
Cons: Nothing fancy here, the breakfast is really over priced, a tray with bun, juice and coffee. Front desk rude, cabs are a real RIP off, front desk would not allow us to share a cab. A 2 minute drive is 20 us dollars.Didnt like dragging my suitcase up stairs. . We were told we could walk from the airport, a steep hill with luggage impossible.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: It is within easy walking distance of town. The staff is kind and helpful.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: service to he room
Cons: no restaurant even there was breakfast and even we were not informed of teh closure of the resto noon and night; not even a sandwich or sweets or... was raining like hell and could not go out
1.0 Poor
Pros: Absolutely nothing.
Cons: This is definitely a roach motel. Killed 3 roaches while there. Room was in terrible condition. They only give you 2 towels for the room. No hand towels or wash cloths. Heard a rooster crowing all day and night. Take this place off your list.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Rooms are spacious. Staff is friendly.
Cons: The price is way too expensive for what you get. You have to pay even more for late check-out, which you ultimately have to use, since there is nothing to do or see in Papeete other than the market. It’s a bit of a long walk from the city center — dangerous at night owing to the dark and not much of a sidewalk on the road.
5.8 Okay
Cons: Location
7.0 Good
Pros: location was very good, close to downtown Papeete & ferry.
Cons: air conditioning in room was very poor.
1.0 Poor
Pros: The only thing we liked was that they were not totally booked like their competition.
Cons: Horrible Hotel. Extremely noisy area. We could not sleep all night due to traffic noise, construction, a factory, or something that is open at night nearby with lots of banging. We have travelled A LOT, and this is the worst night's sleep ever!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff, colourful, spacious and clean room, quiet considering the central location, walking distance to everything (including the waterfront food trucks for dinner), surprisingly good Internet access and good shuttle service.
7.9 Good
Pros: Convenient location to ferry terminal - about a 5minute walk. We caught the ferry next day to Moorea
Cons: Not the newest or most modern hotel I have stayed in, and at the not so upmarket end of town, but very ok for our one night stay. And the wifi worked!
7.0 Good
Pros: location close to ferry harbor.
Cons: very noisy outside, a lot of moped riders throughout the night racing. windows dont block the sound.
7.5 Good
Pros: Clean
Cons: Customer service coukd have bedn better.

7.0 Good
Cons: We asked for a wake up call that did not happen.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We have a a large, comfortable room with all the necessary comforts. I always like to have a small fridge and a hot pot. The only thing missing was a safe, but evidentally they will put things in a safe by the front desk.
Cons: The staff has been excellent. The location is wonderful. Our cruise ship is parked just a couple blocks away. There are restaurants, shops, and a market very close by.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Rooms modern, clean and comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff. Ideally situated to walk to center of town with Public Market etc. Also in walking distance to Ferry/Cruise Ship terminals - but not with suitcases due to street construction and heavy traffic
Cons: Mountain view and side rooms are quiet. Rooms facing street have traffic noise all night long....
6.7 Good
Pros: Only stayed 1 night so didn’t really experience all facilities but was clean and comfortable
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The restaurant- we had lunch and dinner was fantastic. The quality of the food and presentation was excellent. The location- close to the airport for an early departure. The room was great. Atmosphere was relaxing. Will stay again when back in Papeete.
Cons: View from room- not great as it was not at the front of the hotel.
6.8 Good
Pros: Location of hotel in heart of Papette is convenient location. However I did not find the reception staff overly helpful when our Air France departure flight was cancelled on Friday, Sept 25 and did not fly out until Sunday Sept 27 at 3:00 am.
Cons: Location of our room was on main avenue and very noisy. Also the sliding glass door to the balcony would not lock so they delivered a piece of wood to jam in the door frame. Whilst the room was large is was impersonal. the room and the hotel in general was very dark.
7.0 Good
Pros: Room extremely hot and the room Air conditioner could not cool the room down sufficiently
Cons: Cooler room
7.0 Good
Pros: location
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Read a lot of mixed reviews on here, and as always mixed results. My review is strictly for an overnight stay after a flight from San Francisco (8 hours). Would I stay there for like a week? Probably not; but that’s just cause I would want a more resort style vibe, not cause it’s lacking in anything. Pros: Super comfortable Beds Clean room Friendly staff Great water pressure Short walk to the ferry if not a lot of items Short taxi ride from airport “Cons”: Can’t use my Marriott points to book.
Cons: Nothing, honestly. Super comfortable beds, and great water pressure made it a great sleep.

Pros: Location, location, location. Staff was friendly and accommodated our luggage after check out without charge and let us wait out a down pour in the lobby.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was good. Short walk to market and the food trucks in the evening. Room was clean.
Cons: Very basic. The bed was a double & we are used to queens. No tissues. They have a gadget that shuts off all electricity to the room when you leave, so if you're gone a few hours the room will be hot again. Just one towel per guest. All channels on the TV are in French.
6.0 Good
Pros: Simple but Friendly. Could use some updating
Cons: Needs updating
5.0 Okay
Pros: clean basic room that met our requirements for a "day room" paid for the full overnight. Very close to cruise terminal. Staff was great stored our luggage offered us the use of the lounge and was very helpful with a map and ordering a taxi to the airport
Cons: the address was wrong closer to 147 not 417 Poor sinage walked past it originally.

Pros: Not a bad choice when you need a Ferry the next day. Location is great but the air conditioning is noisy. The hallways and elevator is horribly HOT! Bed was comfortable but TV is all in French.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Air conditioning was very good. The location of the hotel is excellent. We would recommend this hotel in its category.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful host. Very nice breakfast with great local fruit. Air conditioning in our room was strong.
Cons: We're used to softer beds and pillows. The biggest drawback, however, was that the location was a bit far from everything other than the airport, which was about 1 mile away. There are not sidewalks, and the roads were too narrow to walk on during the evening. The taxi to the location was pricy.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: I was at Farehau for one night following along travel day. The staff at Farehau picked me up at the airport ( a real bonus) and took me to their home. The house was very comfortable, set high on a hill overlooking the city and water. My room was nice and cool and very clean. In the morning there was breakfast waiting in the kitchen and it was yummy. Their was a huge deck with comfortable chairs.
Cons: The house is in a residential neighborhood that is overrun with roosters. So they were a bit loud but that didn't really bother me...I used earplugs and sandwiched my head between pillows. Being a tropical island I expect there to be many new sounds especially form the resident fauna!
7.0 Good
Pros: The hosts were very friendly. Decent bathroom which was very clean. They had a terrace with a beautiful view but sadly it was raining. Close to the airport but still needed a taxi because we had luggage and it was hilly. They were helpful in recommending a taxi service. They also gave us a lift up the hill when they saw us walking back in the dark which was very kind! There's breakfast included but we left too early to eat but there was coffee ready for us before we left.
Cons: It was quite isolated and high up with little food options (although they did offer to order in Pizza for us) we walked for 30 minutes towards the airport to find somewhere to eat, but it was probably because it was a sunday so most restaurants were shut, but there was a supermarket open and some food vans. There was a few stray dogs on the walk which was a bit scary but the view was amazing. If staying on a sunday - recommend to eat before going there or buy some food.
5.0 Okay
Pros: 10 mins drive from airport. The staff is friendly.
Cons: Extremely basic accommodations and breakfast.
