The hotel staff was nice, but......
The bed was comfortable-
We found that our bathroom was not cleaned and we had to have housekeeping come clean it. Hairs all over bathtub. Then we were afraid of what else might not have been cleaned?? Roman came to our room and got the problem corrected and offered a voucher to the airport the next day. Appreciated but still—-creepy. Oh, and the dinner in the restaurant was tasteless. Can’t recommend.
It was under construction! Restaurant was closed and you couldn’t get to the gym without going to the front desk. Thus they put me right next to elevator which is the one a restaurant was closed and you couldn’t get to the gym without going to the front desk. One of the things that make this a really great stay for my is it is so close to the Skytrain. I cannot be bothered to drive in Vancouver and having the train so close makes getting around the city so easy. As for all hotels the staff make or break the hotel. This one has friendly and knowledgable staff. The hotel was spotless, which tells me the staff I did not interact with are also great at what they do.

Vancouver Airport & Chinatown
The water from the tap tastes better than most bottled water. Quite sweet. This hotel is new, located by the airport on the edge of Chinatown. There is a large asian grocery store behind it, along with multiple options for a quick bite. Easy access to airport and main roads.
$4 for the bottle of water in the room is a bit of a trap for oversees travelers still foggy from the long flight.
Don't have toothbrush and toothpaste in the bathroom

Clean room, close to airport, dinner was easy.
Location, no where to walk, had to drive up north for everything we wanted. Pool was old/dirty feeling, did not stay to jacuzzi. Wouldn't stay there for vacation.

The friendliness and helpfulness of the Front Desk staff - excellent
The facilities and location aree great, if you need to stay to fly. The gym and hot tub also a plus, free Internet and public transportation to downtown just outside also many shops and restaurant lesss than a minute walking. The reception staff just perfect, they go the extra mike to to make your stay very comfortable.
Room was very spacious and comfortable but was, unfortunately, next to the elevators. This resulted in a very noisy evening and this noise commenced again early in the morning.

Although the hotel was situated out of the city it was very well serviced by public transport, which made it easy to get around.The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Location, Room size was good
The advertised shuttle service was very poor- we had a 40 minute wait to be picked up from airport on arrival. To compound matters we were told that on requesting the shuttle on departure that it left at 10.00 a.m or 12 noon - we needed an 11.00 a.m departrure.We were able after considerable negotiation (and cost) able to depart via the shutle.
