The room and the bathroom were large and comfortable. Private parking in a lot close by cost 9 euro/day, but it was well worth it. The breakfast buffet had everything one could want.
There was just a bit of noise from the bar across the courtyard. The room was a bit warm at night. The small fan helped a bit.
The half timbered property is located on a tiny lane inside the walls of Riquewihr, a beautiful small medieval town surrounded by the vines of Alsace. They have private parking and a very good breakfast.
My only issue was the bed. The room had a sleigh style bed and since I'm taller foot boards are a problem. I fit the bed but just which makes for more tossing and turning.

Mattress was very hard
Very good location. Rooms are quiet. Perfect for a one or two days visit to Riquewihr.
There’s a border between charming and outdated. The room we had was definitely flirting with it.
Great location in town, WIFI strong, lovely breakfast, private parking offered outside of town wall, which was easy to access. Helpful Staff and a lovely bar under the hotel.
This is a note that they do not silence the church bells in Riquewihr between 20:00 and 6:00. During the warmer nights, with the window open, you will hear the church bells all night every 15 min. This made our sleep less than perfect.
When you stay at Hotel à l'Oriel in Riquewihr, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Château Girsberg and Jean Sipp Winery. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and multilingual staff. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
