Pros (+) The Hotel Ranieri is a 15 minute walk from Termini, about 10 minutes from Repubblica and 15 minutes from the Villa Borghese. It's a good value, with good pedestrian access to shopping and major sights, but in an area of state ministries which I guess makes it outside the area of the most expensive hotels. Definitely worth considering for a tourist visit to Rome.
