Location very close to bus stops, metro. Very close to vatican and vatican museums and supermarket. Quiet.
Hot water not available easily.
Less than 5 minute from the Vatican and the tube station. Bars/restaurants/shops around the corner Safe area Very clean room with all comforts There were toiletries and an hair dryer in the room Bed was comfy Staff very kind, helpful and flexible and reply within minutes
The road can be a bit noisy but that’s Rome’s traffic!
Very strange smell in the bathroom, broken toilet seat and tap water was electric. Impossible to sleep because of the terrible noise from the street.
It was close to the Vatican and there was a good supermarket nearby. The first day was okay, just as I expected, and then everything started going downhill, if everyday was like the first, it would've been a good stay. They seemed to replace our pillows the last night with ones that were a bit more firm. The owner was really quick to reply and even helped us with instructions before we got off of the plane, they let us check in early as well. The courtyard leading to the apartment was nice.
After the first day the AC just didn't seem to work. There was a weird smell that I can't even begin to describe, but it stained our clothes. The next day, we decided to sleep in a bit. The cleaner was trying to get us out of the room by 8:30. I thought it was rude, but what can you do? So we left. We came back at 1:30 to drop off some stuff, and she tried to chase us off again. This wouldn't be so bad, if I felt she actually cleaned. There was dust on the back of our bed, layers of dust on the door, it seems she just made the bed and left. That night, the toilet stopped flushing. The whole time I had to go into the bathroom, fix the button so the water would stop flowing, and hope it actually worked. But there came a time where it just wouldn't flush at all, but was constantly depositing water into the bowl, just a slow, steady stream that I couldn't stop. The outside is noisy, but there isn't much they can do about that, and closing the windows helped a bit. When I tried to sleep one night, the ceiling leaked water on to my face so we moved the bed. The pillowcase was stained with someone else's blood. The shower glass door was broken and wouldn't open or close properly, the toilet seat was also askew and moved a lot. The pictures attached: The door is from where my husband leaned against it to close it. You can tell where he was pushing against the door vs the layers of dust Layers of cobwebs on the AC.
Location was the only good thing. Very close to the Vatican, cafes and restaurants.
We were informed our check-out was at 10:30 AM but starting with 08:00 AM we were woken up by the cleaning staff who wanted to clean the room for the next guests. We were basically rushed out. Also, the windows had no isolation or soundproofing and it felt like they were open the whole time. It got pretty cold during the night. The shower was very small with no room to move in.
