The location and the view were immense! The price was fair, maybe could be slightly more competitive as we did not have any sort of view. The bridge could be seen from hotel balcony though and was breathtaking. Would return here again to this hotel. Friendly and helpful staff.
Not a complaint for the property, but car parking very expensive for the town.

There was an excellent spread at breakfast -- a real variety of meats, cheeses and fruit and more -- which was very good in view of the fact that there were few guests taking breakfast. In a pleasant dining room with a superb view. The hotel location was excellent and we felt it was really worthwhile paying for a room with a view over the gorge. The hotel is beautifully furnished in "antique" style with a comfortable, pleasant atmosphere.
We were sad that the restaurant was closed, in January and February, but knew about this in advance and could understand the reason. No real criticisms.

Hotel was certainly charming and we appreciated the historical nature of the building and its furnishings. Bed was comfortable and toiletries good.
Having booked the hotel because of the excellent reviews we were more than surprised that the restaurant was closed....and will be until March we were told. This should have been made clear to avoid disappointment. Returning to hotel in the afternoon we at last managed to have access by a workman after around 10 minutes (seemingly the receptionist had been parking another guest's car). With a little thought a member of staff could have been put on duty to ensure guests were not locked out. Little things do impact on how guests view an establishment and we feel this hotel fell short of our expectations.

The location is spectacular. What’s more, the rooms overlooking the gorge have incredible views. Finally, the hotel is housed in a small, charming building down a quiet street. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and were able to check us in a couple of hours early.
