Location and the restaurant.
Room was a bit small and we barely could open de toilet door.
Nicely decorated rooms. Clean. Very large bathroom. Lots of electrical outlets in room and had a deck.
We spent a Monday in the slow season. So had the impression that most guests were placed on the rooms located on the ground floor. The problem is that our room was just a few meters from the reception desk. There is a door that closes between the reception and the hallway to the rooms. But it does NOT close automatically. So people tended to leave the door open. Meaning: when the door was open, we heard ALL, and I mean all conversations at the front desk. I STRONGLY suggest that management install an automatically closing door and to instruct all employees to be sure that it remains closed, at all times! To the credit of the hotel management, we were offered another room. But we were only staying one night and had already unpacked and did not feel like packing up our stuff again. Overall had a very nice stay.
Very attractive, comfortable hotel. Staff were helpful. Reasonably priced parking on square in front of hotel.
The Bedroom (Junior Suite) was really comfortable and overlooked the town square. Parking is not readily available in the immediate area but we were directed to a secure car park about 8 minutes walk (slow walk!) away. The central location is excellant and good for sight seeing in the town and for local bars and restaurants. Breakfast was also very good. I would happily stay there again.
The aircon had a mind of its' own and refused to stay on all night meaning we had the windows open. Not actually a big issue but when the market started setting up at about 07:00 it was a bit noisy.
Location, parking, excellent dinner, friendly staff, lovely ( if small) bedroom, great bar and restaurant
