10.0 Excellent
Pros: I did a review earlier so this is just add up. The service is excellent. Staffs are alert and act before you ask. Very thoughtful and comfortable. They are polite and not intruding. Valuable are under their care. I took away my son’s electric Cigarette and they know. After stayed on forth day they can call my last name. ( FS Geneva can recognise our name on first hour) The service is wonderful. The food is excellent and beyond good. It’s too good and it cause us trouble for weight management. The room, shower get etc are great. Just come and enjoy the view on the sun bed and pool. You don’t wanna go outside.
Cons: The room service is actually the cheapest here. I mean I don’t want to have formal or serious food for dinner. The club dolphin offer excellent food but closed at 3pm. I want a cafe for light and easy food at night but I can’t except room service. The balcony is roomy and with great view. It’s not a bad option but I wish there is a cafe or alike. Please note each bar and restaurant seems operate separately. The manual is different and flavour very even just tea or coffee. So does the cup side...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The restaurant, the service ... all very good
Cons: Too many kids in the swiming pool
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I hesitated on the question of value for the money. I don’t mean it’s not worth it. It does and one receive way better service. However, you do have to break the bank to stay here because there is not less economical choices here. Fantastic service just don’t comes cheap. It’s wonderful here and just need to learn to spend. It’s great luxury life here. They don’t cut corner on service here. Besides one have to spend a lot, the food is wonderful from coffee, tea, bread, egg, snack to dinner. It’s just right. The landscape is beautiful and the sea side club is wonderful. They also offer pool side dressing if you forget to pack. The pool is way better than hotel photo shows. The spa from beauty products, toys( euro 2000+), gym, jacuzzi, oil off pond, steam and sunna are comfortable. Plenty choices of drinks and snacks. Sower gel and soap are TOP grade all over the property. They don’t cut corners. There are walk path and access to sea. All staff are polite and welcoming guests. TOP of fs hotels.
Cons: My bill :-(
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel, super service ang high quality
Cons: Not
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent facilities and sublime service
Cons: Excessive charging on occasions . eg 2 glasses of orange juice at breakfast 28 Euros!!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Extremely professional staff and very welcoming
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, view, restaurant offer, staff kindness, the whole experience was beyond our expectation.
6.7 Good
Pros: Loved the settings, the rooms, the gardens are amazing. The pool is great and so is the food. The staff wonderful but you pay over the top for the experience.
Cons: We have stayed at numerous Four Seasons and I would have to say the value for money here is just not justified. There is literally no pool service and the menu around the pool is just appalling. Other than getting a towel and having to book a spot that’s about as far as it goes. No plates of fruit or icy poles being handed around like other four seasons in hot weather or jugs of fresh water no special little treats are provided at all around the pool, they should take a leaf out of Four Seasons Hong Kong. I found this outrageous. It’s like they take advantage of the fact the hotel is isolated so you have to eat there and whilst the food is incredible it’s highly highly over priced for the servings. An entree pasta of just cheese and simple tomatoes with about eight pieces of agnolotti is like 42 Euros. I couldn’t not understand how we paid nearly 2K Australian dollars a night and no breakfast included which was ordinary anyway and 50 Euros per person. So whilst we had a lovely time we spent most of our time out of the hotel due to location being remoter and over the top prices for eating.
7.5 Good
Pros: Very nice spacious room Beautiful gardens Great views to the ocean Staff is very attentive and efficient
Cons: Crowded and noisy pool, not what I was expecting in such a hotel where we were paying over 1000 euros per night. I traveled with my husband and we were looking for a relaxed stay in a calm garden with ocean views, very different to what we found The pool is confined to an area which is too small so it gets packed with people, the restaurant is also packed and the food is okish but not local or special in any way (mostly hamburgers and salads that you can get anywhere in the world) The only quiet place in the pool area was too hot, and pool service was miserable, you couldn’t get yourself noticed. We tried to ask for a bottle of water and the only solution was to go to the bar up the stairs in the pool and get it When we said that the pool was too crowded and noisy, the manager offered us to stay in a “private cabin” for 400 euros a day, which was essentially a small tent with two sunbeds next to the pool area (but farther away), even hotter than the pool area itself because it was fully in the sun, slightly farther way from the pool and no access to the sea. When we saw the tent, we declined the offer and went away thinking the pool was simply not for us Access to the sea is not good. Too rocky, not a nice area to swim

7.5 Good
Pros: Hotel bar, service quality, location, charm and general styling all this perfect and what you expect. But that’s all.
Cons: Ok, where to start... we paid over 1.300€/night for room, that was probably not under some serious maintance for last 5 years. Short list what was TOTALY wrong, especially compare to price. Bathroom - one of two sink doesn’t work, shower have damaged floor and death flies in lights, automatic toilet works so so, make up mirror was very damaged and light on it doesn’t work at all, tile under sink damaged, doors to toilet almost totaled. Cloakroom - old “ikea like” furniture, 3 diferent types of hangers, terribly cheap solution for cover window with cardboard paper and duct tape, not joking! Bedroom - bed was half destroyed, swinging just by sitting on it, on table some super old radio for iPhone 4 that loose it’s white color 3 years ago, original skylight on top of the room covered with same cardboard like cloakroom but with additional carpet, mark of water on wall from A/C. Living room - all repairs done on historic wall made with some kind of glue or whatever they have by hand at the time they did with total ignorance to any visual quality, which is general problem all over the room and balcony. Balcony - whirpool have not dirt, but definetly not clean water, worked just 2/3 of jets, head rest was removed completly and now the most f*cked thing in whole room - right on balcony is ventilation outlet from KITCHEN that smell from kitchen all day and it is incredibly loud even at 11pm, when I have to go to reception totaly angry ask if it’s possible to turn it off finaly. You can of course this noise hear even in bedroom!!! After I gave part of this little list at reception at time of checkout all I get was “sorry” and writing down some of the problems I mention here, no refund, no offer, not even parking for free as apology, NOTHING, NO-THING!!!! And as extra there was 286€ on final bill for dinner we haven’t!?!?!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Our room were just barely adequate. Two of us stayed in Corniche which had no view but was comfortable. The other room we had was not comfortable, no view and steep narrow stairs to a loft sleeping area. It was definitely not worth the walk up.
Cons: The second room was unacceptable.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The view is wonderful
Cons: It’s so hard to reach to the hotel
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing weekend! Views, suite, staff, restaurant, overall service and amenities throughout were spectacular.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely view, the place to stay when in eze
Cons: Did not really know where to park my car when coming there and went to far up.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: My mother and I returned to Chateau Eza after 23 years and the staff were incredibly understanding, caring, helpful and the most professional/friendly people we have ever met. Thank you for making it such a special experience for both of us.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The view from my “Superior”room was all I hoped it would be. Lovely special dinner. It was expensive but delicious and a wonderful memory. Staff was helpful and friendly. We believe we will go back someday.
Cons: Door locks were difficult to operate. Need hooks to hang towels and robes. Not a property for those with mobility issues.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast, shuttle service, very friendly and accommodating staff, assistance with dinner reservations, drinks and snacks at the pool, pool towels, abundance of sun beds, newspapers and magazines
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was extremely comfortable and agreeable. The style of the property was pleasing, the room we had was comfortable and clean and well appointed. The staff were terrific, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. All the staff we dealt with could speak English, even if we tried our French on them, but they did not make our efforts feel inadequate! The outside areas, including the outdoor lounges, the pool surrounds and grassy areas were extensive and were never busy - there was always space to relax. The pool is a good size, that allowed for serious swimming, if that is your thing. All in all, a terrific place to stay. Far enough out of town to provide a feeling of space, but close enough to St Paul-de-Vence and other towns to be convenient.
Cons: Nothing!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very clean good breakfast although expensive
Cons: A bit expensive I think it should of included breakfast for the price of the room rate!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything was very good. Shuttle service to the old town on a retro Citroen liked a lot.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: 18th century style Renovated and clean
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff very friendly, lovely location and a thoroughly enjoyable stay, Would return and recommend to friends.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location, small boutique and fantastic staff throughout our stay... pool, room, jacuzzi!
Cons: Road outside could be busy and noisy at times. Breakfast was ok, if you paid for the ‘full-breakfast’ you will survive till dinner. The ‘light-breakfast’ was not really worth the €12.00 per person, for a few pastries, juice, coffee. Otherwise to eat this in the dining area was delightful!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The manager and staff were knowledgeable and knew the town and surrounding area well making excellent travel suggestions .

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel very clean and comfortable. Bed was great. Location convenient close to main train station and on tram line. Staff very friendly and helpful, especially Michaels, David, and breakfast chef (who helped with our bags on morning of Sept. 9.
Cons: Elevator doesn’t work at night and needs to wait until after 8AM for someone to arrive to turn it on! We were told this was true throughout France.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, VERY close to train station, and an easy straight walk to the promenade and beach. Beds were very comfy, staff were very lovely and the FREE access to drinks (water bottles, soft drinks and coffee machine) was awesome!
Cons: -
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Staff fantastic Great linens Wonderful duvet Loved free water, soda, coffee, tea in breakfast room 24 hours
Cons: Nothing
6.5 Good
Pros: Convenient location
Cons: Key disadvantage: no refrigerator. Small spaces, non-functional bathroom, Bad air condition, old and cramped elevator.
7.1 Good
Pros: Very close to the sea (approx. 15 minutes walk or two stations only), as a highlight we got a nice balcony next to the street and could enjoy some fresh air every night - great! Altogether clean rooms and quiet stay.
Cons: Due to the extremely positive feedbacks we expected something special, in our case the balcony was definitely a great surprise. Without that you get a normal 4* room without special comfort, cupboard or minibar (in our case). One negative aspect is certainly the breakfast room which is VERY small and narrow, luckily we had not booked any breakfast before.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Large comfortable superior room with lot of natural light. Christo at the reception was very helpful .
Cons: There were no tea making facility in the room. Would be nice to have an electric kettle.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good aircondition Very friendly staff Central location I got a balcony
Cons: It was not sound proof The bathroom was impractical, one had to go in behind the toilet to close the door so that you could access the shower behind the door.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great reception concierge staff, especially Mihaela.
Cons: Notorious area for pick-pocketers - which we experienced.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Front desk and chef for breakfast exceptionally friendly
Cons: Elevator out of sorts

Pros: The location was excellent. Close to the tram so you could easily get where you want to go.
Cons: No coffee in the room.

Pros: Closeness to Rail and Centre of City
Cons:
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: I have visited 27 countries, I saw a lot of different hotels. But this hotel is the worst hotel that I have ever seen! I was afraid to take a shower, because it was ssooo dirty! it is not 30star hotel. I will not even give 1 star to it! The lamp in the toilet was blinking like at the discoteque and the staff did nothing to help us. Staff was not aatentive, not smily, they just didn't care about anything. The door of the toilet didn't close. Wallpapers were 3 cm from the walls. It is a peppergrass for 100 euro per night!!!
2.8 Mediocre
Pros: only location
Cons: my air conditioner is not work, but i got only 10 euro back . It too expensive for the room without air conditioner
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Please write at least 15 words
Cons: Dirty tired.uncomfortable beds. Miles from the beach.Inedible breakfast disgusting outlook.
4.8 Okay
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: It was located in an area that I would not consider safe; it would be better further south but were not made aware. Because of safety, a car park would have helped for coming back late.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The view is breathtaking and the property itself is gorgeous! This is real luxury!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is at the most magnificent location - the view is simply AMAZING! I could just sit at one of their terraces and look at the view forever! Also it's built in a way that has so many hidden corners, nice sculptures, little balconies... lots of little surprises!
Cons: I find it hard to find faults as the location is truly amazing and would compensate for lots of things in my view....If I wanted to be very picky, I would say that perhaps some refurbishment is necessary for some of the bathrooms eg my sons' bathroom looked a bit tired. Also - perhaps because it was not exactly peak season?- the downstairs pool was not serviced as frequently and as efficiently.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Room was just fabulous, breathtaking views. Check in was so friendly and professional. Hotel is beyond charming - a real bucket list experience
Cons: Food at outdoor restaurant was very mediocre. Service also. Just ok. Shame for such a beautiful spot.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel and grounds are gorgeous. The staff is extraordinary and helps with just about everything. The view of the Mediterranean is like nothing else in the world!
Cons: I wish it was closer to the beach or the beach was accessible from the chateau.
7.9 Good
Pros: It is a magical space . Found the staff a little nonchalant and not able to converse in English . There is definitely a visible downward move in general , very unfortunate . The tray that was presented with room service not great , actually unexceptable ! The staff member was very friendly and willing to help . Needs to be supported by establishment with the correct goods to deliver . Also gentleman taking room service order , could not speak English , was a real battle to converse :-) please assist your staff with all their challenges . will return at some stage soon. one of my favourite establishments to visit x

Pros: Excellent restaurant with fabulous staff.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is amazing and the rooms, which are part of the orginal buildings in the old city, have an incredible level of execution and finish. Our four story suite was outfitted like the interior of a modern luxury yatch and included an elaborate entertainment and lighting system. You won't find a better view of the Cote D' Azure anywhere. Highly recommended. We will be back.

Cons: Nothing! Adorable hotel with great staff. Very helpful!!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: clien, friendly, near the beach
Cons: the parking
9.2 Excellent
Pros: It has a very good location, in a very centre, had a wonderful terrace overlooking the sea and the yachts. Breakfast was good, not worth of 20 EUR but still. Staff was very helpful.
Cons: Not a value of money, 600 eur is a cost of a room at 5 star Hotel at Cap ferrat (Royal Hotel). So + 150 EUR and you get a luxurious stay, not comparable to 3/4 star Hotel. There was a noise from the streets. Triple bed is actually a double bed with an extra very small bed, mainly for child. So you pay this overprice for the wonderful location and for the Villefranche-sur-mer which is amazing.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great location with rooms facing the harbor. Nice outside balcony. The room was comfortable and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great wine bar in lobby and with snacks.

Pros: Hotel is very beautiful and located in front of the beach. Both the swimming pool and the beach are very pleasant places to be. Restaurant in the swimming pool was very good.
Cons: Check-in process was extremely bad. After arriving at 13h30 and having had lunch, the room was not ready at 15h. We were only able to enter in the room, which was not very clean, at 15h20. The general manager gave a very insincere excuse and that's all. Not expected in a hotel of this level and price.

Cons: Nothing I can think of...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We love this property, staffs very friendly, food is good, location is great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything about Le Hameau is intended to enchant. the exquisite natural landscape enhanced by all of the flowers, the decor, the personalized attention to cuisine, the teeny rooms filled with antiques...
Cons: If I had one minor complaint it would be that water should certainly have been available in the rooms or by the pool or in the library in the muggy heat of August. As it was, I had to inquire several times and never received any..
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Extremely warm and friendly atmosphere inspired by excellent staff. Beautiful hotel, pool and gardens with view over hills and valley. And only 10 minutes walk to St Paul de Vence.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable bed. Safety car parking and very clean pool. Also very nice design. I like everything.
Cons: Nothing
5.8 Okay
Pros: Charming and pretty, nice pool, hot tub and view.
Cons: Only 1 of the 2 bedrooms had air conditioning. There were very strange and strict rules about not bringing any outside food to the room or the pool - you had to buy from the hotel, which was expensive and very inconvenient and choices were minimal. Would not stay again for this reason.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent environment, extremely clean room and bed, very friendly people, and walking distance to St Paul de Vence
Cons: Non

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location, cleanliness, and attentive staff are unparalleled.
Cons: N/A
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location, the food, the personel, the elevator
Cons: The whole hotel has more feeling of the old luxury hotel from last century. Hotel needs a complete fresh up. On the other hand it would be a waste of a piece history and old fashioned taste.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Decor of room and hotel was magnificent as always The staff were friendly and efficient which made our stay very pleasurable and the revamped La Ronde looked great and the food was terrific
Cons: The bathroom flooded when having a shower over bath tub which was simply unworkable and irritated me immensely at the time making me reluctant to stay again although our previous stays have been great with Thierry indulging my wife with photos each year
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A fresh buffet breakfast is served each morning at the ' La Rotonde restaurant' but its a shame they have refurbished it recently, i was so badly wanting to see the Carousel in its glory which would have added to the quirkiness of the hotel. We sat on most days on the terrace, outside the restaurant to be able to enjoy the views, our table overlooking the Mediterranean sea. The food and the views were worth it !! The few best things about this hotel are its excellent location , its also beautifully decorated inside with art and antiques everywhere and has a beautiful period fully functioning lift from a by gone era of quality. They also have a relationship with the beach across the street so you are able to just walk a few steps and be on your sunbed in no time. From Grace Kelly and Micheal Jackson, from the Beatles to Liz Taylor, the list of internationally known stars that have graced the Negresco is impressive. This has been listed by the government of France as a National Historic Building and you can see it on most postcards of Nice .Your always in awe, thinking whether this is a Hotel or a Museum.
Cons: Our Rivoli rooms were the nicely refurbished one albeit the air con was difficult to operate and the room was very warm. Also the staff at the check in was a tad bit grumpy maybe she had a bad day other that that , but other than that , it was great!!
5.4 Okay
Pros: Excellent location , good food.
Cons: Stuff were very dismissive and unhelpful at all. Very disappointing. Rooms weren’t clean enough.
6.0 Good
Pros: Historic building, beautiful lobby
Cons: Rooms definitely need refurbishment
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We received a room with a sea view which made it hard for us to leave it every day. Hotel is doing a great job in maintaining the authenticity of the rooms. Valet service was always prompt irrespective of the time of day/night.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location, stuff friendly , hotel beautiful itself
Cons: Bed and pillows could be more comfortable
6.0 Good
Pros: The ambiance was nice- classic old style .The rooms were big and the view spectacular. Unfortunately the bath tub drain cover was not working so it required a nail file to remove the cover to drain the tub. This was repeated every day of our stay without the staff fixing it! The room was not cleaned on returning in the afternoon and we were told by reception that we had to call for cleaning !The wall tiles had black mould which Is really unacceptable in a hotel of this class.also, our room had chipped paint around doors and peeling wallpaper trim. All in all,This hotel needs revamping. On the plus side, the location is the best in Nice.
Cons: The staff were very poor in responding to complaints - no apologies ever.My room smelled of mould ,to discover next day that there was a furnace type room opening into my closet, which did not have a door.On complaining ,I was given an excuse instead of an apology. Also, after staying 3 days,I was stopped by a security doorman on entering the lobby ,to question me if I was staying at the hotel. Very very upsetting and again ,after telling him yes ,no apology. Good staff should know the guests and be carful before causing an embarrassing moment. The service at breakfast was very poor and the buffet layout difficult to manage due to the tightness of the restaurant.

Pros: Great location in the centre of Beaulieu (15 min from Monaco, Nice, and Èze). Very friendly staff, the hotel had everything you need including beach equipment like parasols, beach mats and towels! Rooms were spotlessly clean, bed was comfortable.
Cons: Wifi was basically useless (way too slow). No lift (makes carrying suitcases up to the third floor really difficult). Only 2 plugs available in the entire room. Room quite small.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Immaculately clean and well presented. The owners were extremely helpful and friendly. A hidden gem!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location is good, walking distance to the beach. They offer sun umbrellas and something that you can use on the beach which is very nice. You don't need to take your car as there are very nice restaurants around the hotel. If you are interested, every morning there is food market in front of the hotel.
Cons: There is no elevator, so if you can't use the stairs, you should think one more time. For us it was ok but if you have any physical issues, it can be a problem for you. And the walls are a bit thin so you can hear when your neighbors and it is a bit uncomfortable. And there is no parking so you have to find a place to park and you have to pay during the day.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: This small two star hotel is Very well located in centre of town it's very clean and the breakfast is both excellent and a bargain at only €10. Excellent air conditioning. All the staff are friendly and provided very good local information.

The bathroom was again extremely clean with fresh towels and linen provided daily. We were able to make use of the Chantilly's parasols and beach mats for free which made our time on the beach much more comfortable. On our last day we took the breakfast and it was fantastic! Pros: Frederique and Gerard were great hosts. They were so welcoming. Try to remember when an owner helped you with your bags to your room or showed you around the breakfast buffet. The location id superb. Close to train station and beach. Dozens of good restaurants within walking distance.
Cons: The bed was a bit hard for me bit my wife was just fine.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Close to the beach, city centre and train station. Lovely terrace to have breakfast. Wonderful hosts, thoughtful and considerate. Comfortable, clean and good size room.
Cons: Nothing I can think of.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: This is a charming hotel beside the Hippodrome, where there are sulky races on hot summer nights. It's a short walk to a nice, although rather pebbly beach, with plenty of good restaurants nearby. The hosts are welcoming and polite, and the breakfast - outside in a secluded front garden area - is simple but pleasant.
Cons: The breakfast buffet area is rather small and if there are other guests staying, it gets a bit crowded. At one point in our stay there was a strong odour from the toilets.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything about this hotel was excellent. It’s location made access to the beach and Nice old town easy. Towels for the beach were provided and recommendations given for restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful, thank you all. The breakfast was plentiful and they catered well for my gluten intolerance. We’ll visit again.
Cons: Everything was excellent.
7.1 Good
Pros: Breakfast was excellent, enough of options, all tasty, very good coffee. Location was fantastic - closest to the Mountain, to the port, to the beach and to Old Nice, what makes you happy. Bedding is very good as well.
Cons: The room 20 was really small, no space for the suitcase and also no drawers to place small things, if you plan to have some shopping, you risk to keep all buys on the bed. The worst thing - the noise!!! You can not sleep with the air conditioner on for overnight, but even earplugs don't help when they collect glass waist at 5 am!!! And the road is very close - all windows go there.

Pros: Amazing design , beautiful ambiance, cozy and chic
7.9 Good
Pros: Very friendly and efficient staff
Cons: Our only matter that soured our stay was the reception arranged a mini cab to the port (1.2 miles). At the end of the journey were asked for 30 euro. Every other time during our stay we used Uber and it was always 7-8 euro.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff is awesome and very friendly. The view and garden are amazing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were excellent. Very professional, helpful and friendly. We really liked the style of the hotel. Nicely laid out and quiet spaces to sit and relax. Also, brilliant housekeeping standards.
Cons: The room was excellent. Bathroom was a bit small, but laid out very nicely. The staff were very responsive and helpful about a small issue we experienced with the shower. Hard to find anything wrong...as the hotel and staff were outstanding.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Thanks to all the staff who were excellent. Pleasant and obliging and informative. The charming Philipe greeted us and filled us in with everything we needed to know about the hotel and the area. The room was large and airy and the double bed and single beds comfortable. We had a lower floor room and had a patio to ourselves which was a bonus as we were able to take breakfast there daily. The bar and poolside were comfortable with the added bonus of feathered company and entertainment from Jacko the parrot. The pool itself although small is ideal for cooling off and there is a jacuzzi facility.
Cons: Check the location suits if exercise intolerant or disabled as the hotel is on a hillside and therefore an uphill walk home to the beautiful quiet residential area of Cimiez. (Ps......The Chagall and Matisse Galleries are within 10-15 minute walk away which is great for art enthusiasts) The local taxi service served our needs to get about ( It was 29 degrees so their air/con was a must) but be careful later in the evening and further afield as pre booking would be wise. We were left 40 minutes waiting at night in St Paul de Vence. Luckily the hotel reception were very obliging and able to sort a taxi for us. At end July and through August and September take mosquito spray as we have the bumps to suggested they are active.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: How elegant and quaint it was
Cons: It doesn’t do an evening meal
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Solid breakfast, location on the hill above town had great views. A 20 minute walk to the beach was fine with the kids. The staff were excellent in every respect. Not just dog friendly, dog enthusiastic! A super experience.
Cons: Really nothing to complain about. It was not cheap but that is to be expected in the area. The car park was an additional cost but again, to be expected. Hard to fault
5.4 Okay
Pros: Nice view from small balcony. Bed was comfortable. Friendly staff. Food on room service was tasty. Plenty of body wash supplied.
Cons: Found long dark hairs on bathroom floor !!! Room was small for the price. Towels and flannels looked a bit tired. Bottle of small water €5 was too expensive in mini bar.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: This boutique hotel has been carefully curated in all of the common areas and the attention to detail and the art deco Asian styling is glorious. It is very well maintained even though it is not new. The pool and garden areas are a welcome oasis and always seem to catch a breeze which make them a little more bearable than in town itself. Many of the rooms have balconies which I would suggest you try and get if possible. Staff were very helpful and quite charming. The level of service was five star and I have to say the food was excellent.
Cons: Nothing I didn't like about this little hotel, bearing in mind it is older the slight wear and tear on the stairs to the lobby and an ageing bath tub were not something to stress me out. The walk to and from town is not for the faint hearted and although I did it every day and kept up my step count if you are not a regular walker you may find the hills a challenge. It was regularly over 30 degrees when I was there so there are days you may just want to call a taxi!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location is good - quiet but walking distance to the town. Facilities are good - good size rooms, including a terrace in our case, and excellent staff. Free parking around the property.
Cons: No dinner facilities in the hotel or close by but the bar food (cold plates) was good and the city is not so far away. Bit of a slog to walk back up the hill so we just used Uber on the way back !

Pros: The location was great.
Cons: Over-priced. Really basic uncomfortable room for 350 euros a night! Unwelcoming staff. Uncomfortable beds. Unresponsive management—we told them we were unhappy with room, but they didn’t care.

Pros: Absolutely lovely hotel, very attractive and pleasant ambiance, wonderful convenient location near the old town, charming professional efficient pleasant staff, we had a superior double room which was spacious, elegant and with a small private enclosed terrace... couldn't have been nicer.... good restaurant for both breakfast and dinner. Swimming pool was a bonus.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Huge room with huge balcony. Very friendly staff. Restaurant on site. Nice pool. You could order drinks at the pool, but not food. Easy walk to beach, restaurants, sight seeing.
Cons: Restaurant was expensive. Tiny rooftop gym was actually charming, but equipment was outdated, no water, no circulation. I suspect it doesn’t get used much, so I appreciated that it was even there.
7.9 Good
Pros: Great view from room overlooking the sea and seafront. Staff were helpful and friendly.
Cons: The hotel rooms were tired looking, hotel needs to be modernized. Breakfast selection was not great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Responsiveness of staff to our needs.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable bed, great shower, fantastic air conditioning - rocked all the boxes for us.
Cons: Location and room fab. Great pool area too.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very friendly, helpful and made us feel at home. Our room felt warm and a fan was promptly provided. The old town was a short walking distance from the hotel and the elevator up to castle hill is next to the hotel. The pool was wonderful and nestled among the cliff side. Couldn't recommend this hotel more.
7.1 Good
Pros: The location is great, cannot beat it really. Right next to Old Nice, in front of the beach and still walking distance to the main shopping street. I also liked the balcony of my room and the roof (not the "fitness center" though).
Cons: In general my stay was disappointing. Firstly, it is a terrible value for money place. The only great thing is the location. I paid 550 Euros for a small okay room (with a great balcony however). The breakfast was okay at best. I am a big eggs in the morning guy and they just looked watery and ill. I did not even try them. The other hot option was sausages, and what am I going to eat sausages without eggs?! I was there for a night so I also had dinner. I had work to do so ordered room service. Next morning I woke up with an upset stomach and still have one. I ordered a caesar salad and smoked salmon. Clearly something was not clean.. (I did not eat something else). I had to drive all the way to Cinque Terre the next morning and that was not pleasant at all. The fitness center is outdated with one treadmill, one bicycle and one elliptical. I felt like I was going to fall off the elliptical. In my eyes, management feels complacent due to the location, the views (yeah it looks great in photos) and history of the building. My advice is sell it to someone that can do a better job of taking care of their guests. I actually noticed in Nice that a lot of hotels are not part of a chain and have a great location but just look sad. It defaced the city. Seems like a problem to me. I am not particularly a fan of large chains, I have been to many great independent hotels and boutiques (one the previous night in Aix, called Maison d'Aix gave it 10/10). But when the original owners and management grow complacent, it is not a great look for the city. A 7.1/10 is a gift when taking into account the value of money.
