9.5 Excellent
Pros: Stunning hotel and staff. We loved our stay here, and enjoyed the luxury of all the facilities. Lovely to have a full apartment, with kitchen and laundry facilities. Separate bedroom and felt very spacious for our family of 5. Great ocean view from the balcony. Exceptional housekeeping who went the extra mile to make this such a luxurious stay. The amenties were replensihed every day, and they provide you with beach bags and beach towels, plus fruit and water each time you go to the beach (a 2 min walk). Fantastic!
Cons: The only thing that we could fault was that the pool was not very large, but it did have great loungers and staff were on hand to provide towels etc.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff communication was excellent, room was amazing along, everything was well thought out - this hotel exceeded my expectations. Love the trump hotel!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: I thought the bathrooms were excellent as was the kitchen. The attendance from housekeeping was also excellent. The concierge and the bellhops were charming and most helpful.
Cons: I found the airconditioning to the bedroom not as efficient as desired. The control was in the living area and even at the lowest setting the bedroom was a bit too warm. The in house restaurants and amenities were inadequately advertised. There were no coloured brochures in the room and only at the lift lobbies. As a result we did not attend any of them.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel was amazing from before we even arrived until we left. Staff were awesome. Thanks to all the staff that helped us but special thanks to Antoine (at the attaché desk) that gave us excellent recommendation around the island and was very patient to explain everything. Saoudi was so sweet to offer us a late check out when she knew that our flight was in the afternoon (it was the cherry on the cake for our stay) We appreciated the consideration that we were offered without even asking. Also Amber from reception and Brittany from Wai’olu restaurant were very sweet. Honestly, all staff were all amazing and very professional and smiley. We were celebrating our anniversary and they made our stay just perfect. Breakfast was delicious with lots of variety. Pool’s area is soo relaxing. Giving away beach bags with clean towels, cold water and fresh fruits is an outstanding touch. I can’t wait to go there again and I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Cons: Nothing
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great location and excellent service. The staff are very attentive and friendly. They provide you a beach bag with chilled water and fresh fruit and towels every time to head to the beach.
Cons: The pool can be noisy due to a vent above it and it’s windy because it’s high up
9.3 Excellent
Pros: We loved the location, the view from the apartment, and the hospitality of the staff!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything...the property was clean, secure and comfortable. The staff was courteous and professional.....the location was convenient walking distance to nearly every location within Waikiki.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Concierge, service and amenities. Hotel employee at concierge was especially very good. Pool service was good. Infinity pool was nice. Breakfast was good with lots of variety. Room size and balcony a good size.
Cons: Furnishings a bit dated but service makes up for it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was satisfactory, but the service, facilities and the kindness of the staff were really good.
Cons: I was very satisfied.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Room and View was amazing
Cons: Front Desk Service was very poor, especially payment and accounting service. I wasted more that 4 hours over credit card issues and spent around USD 500 on phone calls to my credit card company but the actual problem was the hotels credit card machine / computer. All the hotel offered was a free breakfast. I think that the compensation offered did not reflect my inconvenience and the money I lost in time and phone calls. The accounting equipment at the hotel is out of date and they admit that ( Duty Manager and IT manager)
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location was great - bus stop at 50m, shops rights around the corner, rental car shop at a 5min walk The pool - Very relaxing and beautiful pool area, nice pool area, pool stays open late! The personnel - Very polite, welcoming, warm, discrete Room - Spacious, great terrace and what a view, kitchen fully equipped! Nice little Honolulu Cookie Company welcoming gift !
Cons: Only suggestion point: The windows surrounding the pool could be cleaned more frequently. For the rest, I have zero improvement points, great hotel!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were exceedingly quiet. It felt like we were the only ones there.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! This resort was best ever I had taken at Honolulu. Location, quietness, convenience, air conditioning, staffs kindness and last, BEAUTIFUL VIEW. Everything was more than I expected. I strongly recommend you to stay ocean front room at Aston Waikiki Beach Tower. If you want to stay with your kids, this is it!! Waikiki beach is just in front of resort and you can borrow beach towels from hotel. I really miss this resort and definitely want to visit again!! Staffs, Thank you for everything during our stay. My daughter keeps saying "Let's go back to resort again" :)
Cons: Blind didn't cover entire window. But it was bearable.
6.2 Good
Pros: 1k luxury suit that was definitely spacious
Cons: Truly needs a face lift. Out dated and tired.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The room was amazing and had everything we needed. the view from the balcony was excellent! Location was fantastic being situated directly opposite a family-friendly part of the beach that is sheltered from the waives and so close to all the shops and restaurants. Staff were always really nice and helpful. Apartment was serviced daily and the service staff even unfolded and made the sofa bed daily! Free valet parking was also good.
Cons: The pool area wasn’t the best, relatively small for the size of hotel, with limited seating and no bar. It also had a whole section taped off due to needing repairs so it looked a bit unkept. There was also no bar, cafe or restaurant available at the hotel, but that didn’t matter that much as it is so close to everything.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Facilities...gym and pool area etc.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Loved everything about our stay .we enjoyed our stay n would stay again .
8.0 Excellent
Cons: the price is expensive
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The two bedroom and two bathroom room we had easily slept 5/6 using the large sofa bed in the lounge room. The view was spectacular but we paid for that. Nice and quiet.
Cons: The pool area needs an immediate upgrade. It offers nothing but a pool. There is no character or ambience. There is nothing but bland walls, outdated lounge chairs with no shade near the pool. There is a bbq and bar area already there but was only used one night for free wine for one hour between 5-6pm. Otherwise the bar is never manned. Very boring and disappointing.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location is perfect. 2 Bedroom apartment was very spacious and it was great to have a very well stocked kitchen with all appliances you could need and washing machine and dryer. Housekeeping staff were fantastic. View from the 29th floor over the beach was superb
Cons: We arrived early from a long overnight flight from Australia. We had requested an early check in prior to our arrival. Although I was aware that it is never guaranteed I have always found most hotels are accommodating and do there utmost to get you into your room earlier than normal checkin. On arrival at Aston Waikiki we were greeted by a man call Kuhlani was very unsympathetic at the fact we had been up for 24hrs and our 3 children were extremely tired. He told us that checkin time was 3pm and we would have to wait unless we wanted to upgrade to another room. Having already paid $10,000 AU we weren't happy to do that. We went off for a few hours and had some lunch and came back at about 1pm as we were hopefully he may have found us a room. Again we were greeted with a 'check in time is 3pm '. So through exhaustion we sat in the hotel foyer to wait for our room. At approximately 2pm this same man asked my husband 'by the way are you over 50 years old". When he said yes we were told that we were eligible for a room upgrade and therefore a room actually was available. We were then taken to our room which was on a higher floor than we had booked which was great. Unfortunately at this point we were thinking our stay at the hotel was going to be disappointing. Thankfully the rest of the staff at the hotel were lovely always greeting you when you went out or returned. Even the men and ladies at the car parking desk were extremely welcoming. Again the only person that never engaged with you was the same man that had checked us in. We were lucky that we didn't have to have much interaction with this person again, but he definitely didn't seem to follow the same philosophy of the rest of the hotel staff.

Cons: Room rate was pricey .

Pros: Attached to the shopping mall! Lots of free parking, convenient location to surrounding beaches, activities, far away from Waikiki and Honolulu traffic!
Cons: No full breakfast buffet, with vegan options.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Located across from 24 HR fitness and next to a Mall - easy ! It was not far from beach and close to all the stores And eateries I needed to go to
Cons: I wished the pool area wasn’t as covered so there was more sun. But - that’s not a big deal since most people go to the beach and probably want the shade from the sun

Pros: For children, this place is amazing! The best part was Auntie’s Beach House, which is included with your stay. A wonderful place for your child to play and be safe while the parents are away.
Cons: You have to know what your getting into when staying at a Disney hotel. There are a lot of people who stay here from all over the world. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing hotel, this probably isn’t the place for you.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything!!! There was so many things to do at the hotel and it was super kid friendly!! My one in a half year old loved it!!
Cons: The prices for food were a bit high
5.0 Okay
Pros: The lazy river, pools and beach access were conveniently located. There is a scavenger hunt and Auntie's Beach House to keep the kids entertained.
Cons: The food options close early and the characters aren't doing too much walking around so you have to pay for the family dining experience to meet characters. The lifeguards are basically kids and if you have a problem, don't expect them to help too much.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Swimming pool were the best of all and all staffs at the pool were really friendly"........breakfast,lunch,and dinner were wonderfull
Cons: 1. Refrigerator build up ICE on back wall. 2. A/C was't working. 3. TV had only 2 channels, were out of service couple hours. 4. We were outside on the balcony and someone from upstairs dumped water onto our balcony and we got all wet. plus more things
9.0 Excellent
Pros: If you have young children, this hotel is perfect. Tons for the kids to do (water slides, lazy river, water play area, beach activities, multiple pools, kids club, etc.)
Cons: The worst part about the hotel was the food options. Too much theme park type food (burgers, chicken fingers, etc.) and not enough healthy food options.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Pools and lazy river and water slides for kdis
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Over the top experience. More than what I had anticipated.
Cons: In certain areas of the resort, the WiFi signal was weak.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location, friendly staff, excellent service, clean room and accommodations. Really excellent experience!
Cons: Yes, $37 per day to park a rental car. We had 3 rental cars in our family group, so the parking fees were far too costly. The parking fee was the same price for self parking and for valet parking. There was no free parking on the hotel grounds.

Pros: Incredible technology in the room! The staff was friendly, attentive and helpful. The decor is nice and the amenity kit is great.

Cons: Package deal - not needed $34 for 2 toothbrushes and a razor
8.8 Excellent
Pros: It was newer than most other hotels in Waikiki. Pool was amazing and the rooms were really nice, new and clean.
Cons: Annoying the rooms didn't have balconies and very annoying there was little shade around the pool - some sturdy umbrellas would have been nice. Bit of a wind tunnel through the pool and one of the older guys who worked the pool bar wasn't very nice, probably the worst service we had in Hawaii - he just didn't care!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, parking, staff. Pool definitely.
Cons: A little bright to sleep.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was really knowledgeable and welcomed my family with open arms... Love it!!
Cons: There was nothing I didn’t like
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I lived on Centre of Waikiki beach last time, it was too busy and too many tourists. So, I choose Prince Waikiki this time because it is little far away from busiest area but still super convenient. I love the location so much. Hotel provide free shuttle to Waikiki beach, and it is walkable distance to Ala Moana Mall. Also, I do enjoy the sunset and waves on Magic island. The hotel is clean and modern, our room is facing to ocean and magic island, which makes my mom super satisfied. In a word, I highly recommend Prince Waikiki, I will be back next time.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location was central to all attractions for the 4th of July celebration and the staff from hotel receptionist, housekeeping, and restaurant host and wait help were all friendly and accommodating.
Cons: For the most part, our room was perfect except for a critter that was found in the bathroom corner and the window shade became jammed somehow.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
6.3 Good
Pros: Location and the shuttle that took you downtown. Close to the beach. In walking distance to the mall, McDonald’s, and ABC store. Reception and housekeeping were very courteous and helpful.
Cons: Bed had hair from previous guest. Shower was dirty(mold). The restaurants in the hotel are way overpriced! The valet used my rental car without my permission, then questioned me about playing music very loudly at 2:00 am in the car. I was in my room sleeping. They then lied and said it didn’t happen.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very helpful staff who went above and beyond to help us with our needs and questions. The shuttle bus provided was excellent and an invaluable service to our stay. Much nicer to travel by shuttle than walking around the area. We had an outstanding time. Mahalo!

9.5 Excellent
Pros: The grounds were stunning. The staff were very attentive and we were always greeted with a smile. Loved the lagoon with complimentary water sports. The adult pool is immaculate—we even saw a whale from the pool! Spent a whole day enjoying the spa and zen garden.
Cons: The day before we left a large company group came in. This increased our wait times for service and chairs. For a relaxing trip, I would definitely check with the resort re: large groups.

Cons: Very young staff with no experience for a four Seasons Hotel put in the front office
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was beautiful and glamorous. The food was delicious. Staff were amazing

Cons: Prices for breakfast were ridiculous. Would like a place to get newspaper and sundries on site.

Cons: I did not like management. In particular Mary Jane. Employees entered my room with my privacy sign up. Mary Jane was a bully, and bullied me several times. C$ 328+
Overview Reviews
Start your peaceful Zen-like getaway the moment you step through the doors of Lotus Honolulu at Diamond Head. Our exclusive boutique hotel is nestled between Diamond Head and Waikiki Beach — an ideal location for travelers who want an intimate oasis away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki, yet don’t want to be far from the action and excitement.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location is excellent. Within walking distance to Waikiki Beach, far enough away hustle and bustle. This hotel is located a quiet area. Hotel is small enough that getting in and out of parking lot is a snap. The staff is great. They are very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Rooms and building are a bit dated. However, management reports that a major renovation will be started soon. Make a big deal about free coffee in the morning but it is just coffee. no snacks or anything else and coffee is cold if you wake up late.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Nice staff, located on the beach
Cons: No pool (we assumed it would have a pool). No facilities for breakfast - again read the fine print.
6.8 Good
Pros: Comfortable and peaceful small boutique hotel
Cons: Bed could be more comfortable and the bathroom is clean but old. Requires a bit of walk to Waikiki beach
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent Customer Service.
Cons: Exterior hallway
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Being on the far edge of Waikiki it was quiet yet only took a 10 minute walk along the beach front to reach the bussle of the busy town.
Cons: No pool and the restaraunt was not open for meals until the evening at 5:30. On the bright side Dennys restaraunt and Lulu's bar and grill were only a 5 minute walk towards Waikiki
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location is near a park and beach without the big crowds on the Waikiki strip. Not so good for shopping, but we liked it over the noise and bustle of the Waikiki strip. We also liked its location near Diamondhead park.
Cons: Unexpected mandatory resort fee of nearly $30 was a surprise - but it include unlimited bicycle usage. Also, hotel ocean views are partially blocked by two hotels.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Clean, comfortable, good style, fast and informative check-in. Resort fee includes access to some useful amenities and valet parking. Location is in a quiet area, and 10 minute walk to start of main Waikiki beach.
Cons: Room was across from the elevator, and it was noisy. Cleaning staff started at 8 or 8:30am, and no seal around the door to limit or reduce the noise coming into the hotel room..
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We requested a corner room after reading the comments on here about getting the best views and the hotel were able to give us one. We had a perfect view of Diamond Head. The new restaurant is AMAZING. Wine Down hour was very welcome after hot days exploring and the chef gave us some Tandoor Fried Chicken to try and it was possibly the best chicken I've ever had. Wish we had longer to take advantage of the free bike hire and beach chair offers. The location is great, out of the way of the Vegas-like strip of chain shops and restaurants. If you want some local cuisine, avoid that area and head to Uncle Bo's or the SideStreet Inn.
Cons: The lift didn't seem to want to stop at floor 2, but it was easy to get around this.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very courteous and helpful. Rooms were a good size and beds were very comfortable. Room and bathroom was very clean.
Cons: I wasnt able to check all the facilities during my stay so couldnt assess everything.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Nice spacious room, friendly staff
Cons: When I checked in, after already paying my full hotel fee in advance, I was told that there is an additional fee of $25 PER DAY. This is to cover parking, yoga class, coffee, and other items I had no interest in. Be aware of this when you book this hotel
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Everything
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The view was spectacular; much better than I expected from our corner room; the room was a bit bigger than many in Waikiki; the car parking is right next to the hotel lobby and valet faster than 99% of the hotels in Waikiki. The complimentary wine hour from 5:30 to 6:30 pm was nice. The room was clean and newly refurbished. All hotel staff were helpful and personable.
Cons: room was a bit chilly and thermostat adjustment was difficult

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Everything! We loved it so much we barely left. The restaurant was great, the bar was really fun, and the pool was amazing. We actually paid for a late checkout to maximise our stay. Really exceptional!
Cons: If I had to pick something I’d say it was pricey. However, I really felt like the value for money was still really high, especially compared to some of the larger hotels.

Pros: I liked everything about the Laylow autograph amazing place amazing service rooms are perfect everything was just amazing!i will comeback again when I have opportunity!

Pros: i Like the old school feel!

Cons: It's a little far from the beach

Pros: Beautiful rooms. Excellent customer service. Intimate soaking pool. Fabulous food. Perfect location if you want to be away from the Waikiki beach traffic but still so close to everything.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Such a relaxed comfortable stay. Fabulous decor, so clean, staff were friendly and the food at the restaurant was delicious and such impressive presentation.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, super convenient with lots of shopping and dining options.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The room was nicely setup, roomy and comfortable. The view was nice and we had two balconies which brought in excellent air.
Cons: The 1st room we were assigned we walked into and there was a man cleaning the carpets so we ent back to the front desk and they told us our room was not ready and we had to wait another hour. My daughter went to ask about access to her luggage for the second time and the girl at the front desk told her our room has been ready for a while although no one told us and we were sitting in the lobby tired and waiting for hours. When we finally got our room we noticed ther were crumbs and dried breakfast cereal under our sofa and a used fork under my daughters sleeping sofa. We reported it to the front desk and they said they would credit one resort fee. They never offered to send someone to clean the room. The bed was very saggy and not comfortable at all. It felt like an old futon. The air conditioner rattled loud all night. We did not have hot water in the morning and evening so we called housekeeping and they took care of it. But after we had already taken very cold showers.

Pros: The beachfront location and breakfast.
Cons: Violet parking and parking fee per night! The room is very old and charged way too much for the value!!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very well located, right in the beach.
Cons: We had to leave a 100 dollars cash deposit, since we travelled with debit cards instead of credit cards, and we were told that the system could not take that deposit from a debit card. It is the first time that this happened to us, we were travelling the whole month in the US and never had this issue. We had to withdraw cash with a fee (since the dollar is not our currency). We got our deposit back when we left, not the fee. Many pigeons in one of the restaurant, and many guests feeding them. I did not see any clear sign of feeding birds not permitted as I have seen in so many other places. It was a bit disgusting.

Pros: Services was excellent
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Our guest services representative who welcomed us, Alohalani, was the best. She was friendly and professional and has a personal touch. The room was lovely with a wonderful balcony and view of the ocean. Location is perfect, and the decor is very well done.
Cons: Can't think of a thing.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect and as this was our 3rd visit to Oahu, of the other places we have stayed at, Outrigger out shone them all. We loved the nightly entertainment. But most of all the weather and Hawaii is my favourite place in the world.
Cons: can't think of anything.
6.8 Good
Pros: The location is directly on the beach, breakfast was amazing and so was the breakfast restaurant team, and cleanliness were second to none.
Cons: Check in process was unprofessional and dealing with clients was way non aloha spirited. We checked in on time and have provided my credit card. Upon going to our room and leaving for the beach my sister receives a call that our credit card did not go through. Visited the check in and re provided my credit card upon calling the bank. The receptionist failed to add a deposit of 50 USD required by the hotel during the authorization process where I have mentioned that the bank may block the transactions due to it having several deductions during the same period. I have mentioned that I will settle the payment during my stay. Two days later I receive an email through booking.com warning us to settle that payment. Then we have our room access blocked. Then I go to the reception to inquire and they have blocked access because of a minimal 100 USD amount. I have voiced my unsatisfaction to how unprofessional this dealing was and that this amount is minimal to the extent that it can be easily settled anytime. During check out day today; I also receive a call in the morning inquiring that we will settle the bill. In addition we get a knock from the hotel staff inquiring about when we will check out although we have mentioned we will check out at 12 pm. All in all; in all my travels I have not received this much paranoia in a stay as I faced during this stay. Other points: Beach sunbeds are not part of the hotel, so you would have to pay 20 USD at least for that. Gym size is small with no equipment variety.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: It was very nice to have such a hearty and delicious breakfast awaiting us each morning! And, the band on Tuesday night's Happy Hour was completely entertaining! The location next to the beach was great. The floor cleaning supervisor was super friendly and helpful!
Cons: We made reservations for two rooms for our party from the start, several months before our trip. That should be enough head's up that we would want the two rooms to be at least reasonably close together. Did you really need a phone call from us a week before our arrival to make that request?? Unfortunately, the rooms were not even in the same tower. The hotel desk clerk offered to set us up in next door rooms for the 2nd and 3rd nights of our 3 night stay, but that would have entailed my elder father and friend to "move" causing them extra work and time from our schedule to do so. That's not a good option! My father was very unhappy about this situation, to say the least. He was the paying party in this arrangement and you should not expect him to spend his good money at your property again. Sorry!
5.8 Okay
Pros: We were so excited to stay at the Hilton Embassy suites but room and hotel did not live up to the usual quality of the brand. Major renovation on the balconies was incredibly disruptive, noisy and meant we did not get to utilize the deck/ ocean views we had paid for. I would definitely choose a different hotel like the Outrigger next time.
Cons: As above
6.3 Good
Pros: The rooms were a good size and house keeping was really nice
Cons: The food was not good and serving rice everyday for breakfast is not ok, everybody don’t eat rice in the morning for breakfast, and it was sticky the bacon smelled bad and the birds flying around over the tables while people was eating is so unsanitary, there was bird poop on the chairs and the birds were landing on tables while I was eating, birds carry germs and can make people very sick. I didn’t like how unfriendly the front desk ladies were and the room service food was nasty as well and to expensive.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great stay overall. Nice staff. Nice views. The location was PERFECT.
Cons: The rooms and hallways could be a little cleaner/fresher
7.5 Good
Pros: Location is good The room was clean. Staff is smily. Great to have a water dispenser at the lobby and laundry for the guests (to pay with quarters or credit card)
Cons: Breakfast is fair. Scrambled eggs have a strange taste. Too much time to wait for omelettes. Swimming pool is too crowdy. Too small for the number of guests.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were amazing! Everyone was so friendly and super helpful. The buffet breakfast was amazing and the chefs cooking the omelette were great! The evening complementary snacks and drinks were also fantastic
Cons: Nothing. Absolutely loved staying here. Will definitely be back and will recommend to others.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: location is great food nice
7.0 Good
Pros: Room size was excellent for a family as you had a separate living area. Good to have the option of breakfast included and the happy hour by the pool.
Cons: The hotel is dated compared with photos on the website. Could do with a freshen up. The air conditioner was super noisy and the wi-fi wasn't as reliable as it could have been.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The room was comfortable and spacious (we had a seperate lounge which was great).
Cons: This is definitely a family hotel as there were loads of children. Great for families but we weren’t travelling with kids so found the pool and breakfast time quite hectic.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was great; Staff was helpful and friendly (valet, reception). The bathroom toiletries were nice (shampoo, conditioner, body wash).
Cons: Room was good size so it could have fit a larger bed (I think we had a full, maybe queen?). Would have liked more hooks in the room or bathroom for hanging things up (towels, swimsuits, etc.). The walls were super thin. Could hear our neighbor as if they were in our room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was away from the beach but an easy walk. Coffee shop and restaurant on site were amazing but that’s not the best bit! Staff and facilities were incredible. Rooms are so well thought out and every detail planned with the traveller in mind. We loved every minute there - especially being poolside for happy hour! Look forward to staying again!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I liked how nice they were. Literally they gave us a hospitality room to rest before our flight free of Charge. The bartenders and staff were super nice
Cons: The fact that we had to leave and didn't see more of hawaii
4.5 Okay
Pros: Ok vibe
Cons: One bedroom suite smaller than anticipated, furniture selection didn’t help. Lacked any basic in room facilities eg kettle or even a teaspoon. Overpriced for what it was. Restaurant below average - expensive, average food selection, and poor service (particularly one woman who could never smile or fake she cared). $25/night charge unnecessary for towels and water. Didn’t like that kids had to be out of pool by 530pm. Location slightly too far from beach. Housekeeping service not done till 4pm some days which was inconvenient.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: We stayed at the hotel for a week and had an amazing time there! The atmosphere at the hotel was so good and the room interior was so cute. Staffs are very friendly and helpful, highly recommend!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location and trendy vibe. Loved that they provided a beach bag in addition to towels - very useful!
Cons: Pool was very noisy and very busy
8.8 Excellent
Pros: I thought the location was great. Enjoyed the brunch and dinner we had in the restaurant. Delicious, innovative, fresh food, well presented. A delightful change from the regular tourist hotel food offered. Great to have live music and nice touch with the craft market one day.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Well located boutique hotel. All the rooms opened out to a walkway that looked over the pool. Nicely decorated rooms and the bar/restaurant area was excellent. Enjoyed the nightly musical entertainment. Very friendly staff.
Cons: We were next to an adjoining room and we could clearly hear the people on the other side.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We love how we don't have to pay the premium prices for beach front accomodation and yet we're very close to the action and easily reached by walking or by bus. We also love the funky decor and how friendly the staff are and we always come back to a very clean room. And we're surprised at how good the food is at Mahina & Sun's in Surfjack Hotel. We had fish and it was delicious! As good as any pricey restaurants in those beachfront hotels.
Cons: Nothing! Keep it up!
7.0 Good
Pros: Great amenity was the pool and restaurant was really good.
Cons: The room was dirty. Carpet stains, dirty couch, bathroom smelled like mildew. They had a dirty curtain. Also, I had no idea it was a pet friendly hotel so you hear dogs barking all day. Who travels with their pet for 6+ hours just to leave their pet in the hotel room all day?
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location, the artsy vibe, the cleanliness.
Cons: We liked it all!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: As a local resident, they dropped the resort fee for me and gave me a discount for park. Much mahalo. We stayed from time to time and the people at the front desk all recognized us.
Cons: Nothing.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: We arrived in Honolulu very late and only needed one night's accommodation before moving to another (pricier hotel). The Waikiki Parc was closely. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable.
Cons: The mountain view room might be more appropriately described as parking garage view. However, view didn't matter to us for one night. Unfortunately, rooms with a mountain view are very noisy: traffic noise and people/party noise.

Pros: Hotel was quiet though in a busy, tourist filled area. Staff were friendly and available if needed.

7.7 Good
Pros: The building and the location
Cons: First of all, the bed had a sunken mattress that seemed to have been there forever. I have a disc herniation on both the neck and the back and the bed just killed me. I'm sure the previous guests had complained but a bit shocked that it wasn't replaced.....or maybe all the rooms had same sunken mattresses. For us, terrible mattress. Secondly, the pool was way too small.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: When we first pulled into the valet, I reached for my bag out of the back of the vehicle and was told, "Please let me get that. You shouldn't have to lift a finger here at the Trump." That sense of service and attention to detail defined every aspect of our stay. The facilities and service were top notch.

Pros: Great location can walk to many places. It was nice and quiet on a side street. The beds were comfortable.
Cons: The shape of the room and the balcony was not very desirable view.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Facilities were upscale and staff was helpful.
Cons: No food on site.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Bed and pillows very comfy
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Courteous and helpful staff. Loved that they had an event coordinator onsite so being first time travelers to the location helped us a lot to plan our stay. On our last day we had to check out at 10 am, but we also had a whole day ahead of us to wait for our flight. They were gracious enough to give us complimentary baggage story while we explored more of the city, and gave us access to their meeting areas and showers when we returned to wait til our time to go to the airport. Superb customer service!
Cons: Only reason for shorting them one star in the “Value” category was due to not having all inclusive breakfast. I know that’s not typical of most hotels in the area, but would have made everything just perfect if they accommodated for all inclusive breakfasts as well.
7.0 Good
Pros: It is a very well established and well appointed Hotel.
Cons: Location was a little off the bus routes. Cockerels crowing at daybreak was annoying. Also as it was a timeshare hotel the rooms were not serviced daily.
6.0 Good
Cons: I was very annoyed in that they kept trying to contact me three or four times about their sales pitch with timeshares. I was absolutely not interested I did not pay for it and I did not want to listen to their sales pitch nor did I want to be badgered!!
6.8 Good
Pros: The responsiveness of the staff to our needs and questions was first rate. The bed was very comfortable.
Cons: Royal gardens has no food and it's a walk to anything, so you have to be prepared for that. I lost the code to get access to the computer, so could not print a boarding pass for the flight home, BUT the lobby staff did it quickly.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: No breakfast
8.8 Excellent
Pros: You have everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and we loved having laundry facilities because we we stayed 10 days. The staff were extremely friendly especially Sheldon who helped us in all areas! On the day we were leaving Oahu, we had the use of the pool and the lovely media room to change in afterwards.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: This place was a great surprise. Room was large and nicely furnished. Big windows and a very comfortable bed. Great facilities downstairs and pool area.
Cons: Location is a little way from the beach and the main strip. Not too far but still a good walk. Desk staff ok but not overly friendly and check in simply take way too long with the desk clerk on the computer for ages and not making any eye contact with me. Concierge and bell staff were excellent and very helpful and very friendly. Overall I would stay here again and good value for money.
7.5 Good
Pros: I had a few technical issues, with the phone, toaster and coffee machine that didn't work, but got resolved right away. There was a concierge or always somebody there to answer my queries.
Cons: There was not a restaurant or a cafeteria inside the building. I did not realise that it is not hotel- like but more like a self-service units or apartments. I soon learned to adjust the situation though.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The building and the rooms are just beautiful. The staff at this hotel were very nice and completely professional. Loved our stay here...

Pros: Loved having the extra bedroom when traveling with 2 teenagers. Best location in Waikiki.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Beds not comfortable for some guests

Pros: Having our own kitchen was very nice with three kids. Also having access to all the other Hilton properties and beach made it feel like a huge resort.
Cons: Cheaper or less expensive chairs and umbrellas for the beach.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The shops and restaurants
Cons: Difficulty finding check in from lower bus and taxi drop off.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Everything about the room is top notch. If going to the Hilton Hawaiian stay here it’s the newest tower and it really shows.
Cons: The resort is just too pricey. $43 for parking and a $35 resort fee. So with the taxes you are well over $500 per night. Not affordable. Check out is 10am even for Hilton Honors they only have me until 10:30. Not good.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The unit was spacious and modern. The bedding was lovely. We had ocean views from two balconies and woke up to a beautiful rainbow! The hallways were quiet, which isn’t always the case in a hotel.
Cons: We didn’t like the tourist prices on food and souveniers, but that is the norm.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice rooms and beautiful resort. Very nice bathroom. Very large with wonderful shower, tub and bidet
Cons: Slipped and fell in hotel pool area. I noticed many anti slip mats but not everywhere. Not slippery at other pools. Maybe need to redo surface to prevent injuries. I was OK but an older person could of broke a hip.Hide a bed very uncomfortable. Does not sleep 2. Should have roll away bed available even if extra charge.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Everything was awesome
8.5 Excellent
Cons: They could not/would not give us a lock off unit when our plans changed.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The convenience of having a good amount of things on-site was pleasant, even if my wallet disagrees. The staff was pleasant, and the amenities/property were clean & well maintained. There are a good number of activities onsite, so you are never bored.
Cons: I did not like the high prices of the restaurants around the property. Also, the distance to the town for alternative restaurants/grocery stores wasa minimum if 3 miles, which required either a car or a shuttle, both of which required additional spending. For the large amount of money the resort charges for almost everything, the least they could do is provide a shuttle to the town of Kapolei. The high price if convenience left my wallet feeling fleeced.
4.5 Okay
Pros: Location is great for me when I work in Campbell.
Cons: It's a mediocre extended stay hotel in a beautiful location where everything is crazy overpriced me done halfway to normal standards... to be fair, 95%of the hotels on Oahu are this way m, I've stayed at 30+ hotels.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Great facilities for families with children. Beautiful private beach and enclosed lagoon. Restaurants are close by.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Accommodations were great. Location is picturesque. If you plan to go, try to be there for the FIA FIA Luau on Tuesday evenings. Really amazing dinner show.
Cons: No children’s club unlike other locations—though many activities planned each day.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: n/a
Cons: We did not get the ocean view room we paid for.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice lagoon beach
Cons: Most pools shaded
7.4 Good
Pros: Location, cabana service, gym. One server at chuck's and Oscar at longboards
Cons: Very difficult to get housekeeping, poor communication with resort operator and pressure to be out exactly at the checkout time.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Beauty of the place
Cons: Pricy without any deals
8.5 Excellent
Pros: We originally looked at staying at the Disney hotel but we're able to get a much better deal using Marriott points here. We were glad we did as we actually preferred the setting of this hotel. It is on its own lagoon just like Disney and had multiple pools for the kids that seemed just as fun. We liked how the grounds felt much more open to the beach vs. Disney where you could barely tell you were on the beach from the pools and restaurants. We were able to watch whales breaching right from the pool bar while the kids swam. You are an easy stroll along a paved boardwalk from Disney so can still visit the hotel and restaurants there. The daily list of activities with something almost every hour is a lot of fun. There are free DVD rentals in multiple places around the grounds. Our unit had 2 separate bedrooms as well as living room and kitchen. Lots of space for large or extended family.
Cons: View from our room wasn't great. Could see a Marina somewhat, but mostly looked over parking garage. Hotel is maintained well, but definitely starting to get dated in the rooms. This isn't a huge deal as all the common areas are updated and we didn't spend much time in the room but this is one area where I think Disney would have an edge.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff. Great facilities. Nice rooms and views. Quiet and relaxing area of the island.
Cons: Just a nitpick, but the tv was a little dim. Made it hard too see movies (since they had on site DVD rental)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is one of our favorite Marriott properties. We have been coming here for four years and it is always like coming home! The staff is perfect in every way and they continually seek to make our stay comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable. The lagoons, pools, activities and services are the best. Our two favorite things...everything is always nice and pristine and no surprises! That's three! I could go on and on.
Cons: We have to go home!
