3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Location Free parking (for five cars) AC and fridge in the room
Cons: Smelly filthy shared bathroom. No way to cook food in kitchen, there's only a microwave oven. No even a water boiler. As others have pointed out there's a nightclub nearby so prepare for untz-untz Friday and Saturday nights. Claims to speak English but our experience says otherwise.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing at all - terrible hotel, the only thing that was vaguely decent was the wifi when it actually worked as opposed to being cut off every couple of minutes !!!!!
Cons: Everything could have been better, we slept on the most uncomfortable bed, the room had bugs in it, the bathroom was crappy, the ac didn't work, no tv, nothing in the room - cold welcome, wasn't pleasant at all - also didn't have space to park our car which was disappointing and room was noisy After the first night we cancelled our three night stay and found a different hotel - it was that bad, we weren't refunded but they couldn't have paid us to stay longer
7.5 Good
Pros: location wise. in the heart of the city. Room very spacious
Cons: bed was very down to the floor. No Tv.
6.3 Good
Pros: I ended up stranded at 21:30 that night so was able to book quickly online and turn up. The location was central and it was available last minute. There was a communal kitchen too so I could make a brew.
Cons: It took a good 15 minutes and a phone call to get into the place because the gates to the hotel were all locked up. There is also a nightclub right next door that played loud music to the early hours. It wasn't very clean either, a mouse ran over my foot too.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Location, wifi, one euro for drinks.
Cons: We got only one towel and two pillows for 3 people but was fixed. Very small room, ridicolous sockets, difficult to reach, dirty bathroom, only with flip flops. Like a prison.

Pros: The bed was good. The shower was great. The room is cozy. Good location.
Cons: The pool was closed and even though I’d been in touch several times they didn’t inform me until arrival.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable beds
9.6 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is near casino, restaurant, sea ... very nice... the breakfast is good and the room is nice, not too big but nice ... the bed is very confortable
Cons: you can ear the housekeeper cleaning upstairs at the morning and It’s better if all the rooms have a balcony
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff very friendly, very attentive! The decorations of the rooms and hotel, nice lounge music every Saturday, good cocktails!
Cons: Nothing
7.5 Good
Pros: Room was generally well appointed and comfortable with all required amenities and a balcony overlooking a small garden and parking at rear of hotel. Breakfast was held in the swimming pool restaurant with a wide selection of food, all of which was very palatable. Helpful reception and restaurant staff. Towels folded into 2 swans on the bed to greet you. The beach across the road from the hotel was very dramatic with huge breaking waves but not suitable for swimming or sunbathing. Parking at rear of hotel.
Cons: Room was slightly too small and in some cases prioritized design over practicality. Servicing of the room was of variable quality over the weekend. Swimming pool had suffered cyclone damage and was awaiting repair but still useable - if this is an important amenity for you then check that it is available when booking as swimming in the sea was not possible.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location, close from the beach, from restaurants, ... Nice and effective staff, large swimming pool
Cons: We don't like the concept of mixing bathroom and bedroom

Pros: Was clean and nice people
Cons: Better rooms
7.9 Good
Pros: The host is very welcoming, the bed is really comfy and the location just next to the bus station and close to everything is perfect if you dont travel by car.
Cons: Its not that it was dirty but it wasn't clean. For example; in my bathroom there where the same oily-greasy stains during the whole 5 days I stayed there. The towels had a weird smell, but might also have been the detergent. Also, the Wifi is veeery slow, I wasnt even able to download any app-updates or my favorite weekly podcast
5.0 Okay
Pros: The place was quiet although it is situated in a very central area, near shops and not far from the beach. The room we were given was spacious There is a lift facility even there are only ground, first and second floor.
Cons: The Hotel manager was grumpy and not welcoming. We asked for a transport facility . They did not help us to find a taxi for outing and even to go to the airport. We had to go to seek help from a nearby hotel to get a taxi to the airport. Minimum items for Breakfast. i would not recumbent this hotel to anybody.
7.5 Good
Pros: A breakfast just like the one I take at home. The hotel is well situated in the center of Saint Pierre town not far from the other hotels.
Cons: The hotel was adequate for me.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location and great staff
Hotel Le Soleil Couchant - Saint-Pierre - Building
6
8.2 Excellent (342 reviews)
C$ 111+
Overview Reviews
Located in Saint-Pierre, Le Soleil Couchant is by the sea, within a 10-minute drive of Plage des banians and St. Pierre Beach. Featured amenities include multilingual staff, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
7.5 Good
Pros: The views
Cons: Bed was a bit too small for two people and mattress was a bit hard and noisy, there was limited cupboard space and no luggage rack. There was no hairdryer. For dinner, the restaurant served only two options (fish or meat) which were tasty but the dish consisted mainly of pasta or rice. Breakfast was ok. No warm options.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The electricity worked and you could flush the toilet.
Cons: To start with, there is a certain level of "exaggeration" about the product that is offered. It is not in Saint Pierre as is claimed, but many kilometers away up a winding road in a location that is difficult to find without gps. If you are lucky, you will be able to spot some small signs that indicate where it is. Don't even try it at night. Secondly, the double room with a "sea view" had a better view of the building and trees that were situated ten meters away and between the room and the sea. You could see the sea if you looked off to the side or if the wind blew the trees out of the way. There were decent views if you went outside near the pool, but that wasn't what was advertised. After spending several hours trying to find the place and taking multiple wrong roads, I arrived at the property just as the sun set. I asked the receptionist if the restaurant was open. "No, it's a holiday.". "Is there another restaurant near here?" "No. you have to go to Saint Pierre." And I was not going to drive down there at night and hope I could find my way back. "Is there another hotel nearby that has a restaurant ?" No. "Is there anyone who delivers food?" No. "Can you sell me a beer from the restaurant?" "No. They are closed.......There is a "resto" in the village but I don't know if they are open. " "Can you call them for me?" "No. I don't know the number." If I had been dying, she would not have cared. The room was not very bright and was generally uninspiring, and the mattress seemed to have some kind of memory foam that didn't quite work--it would have been more comfortable without it. And the metal plug in the sink could not be opened unless you reached down under the sink and jiggled the mechanism that is supposed to be attached. So no, it wasn't worth the price of the room.
7.9 Good
Pros: Kind service. Beautiful view
Cons: A little far from St Pierre

Pros: We stayed here for the first two nights of our week long Reunion holiday. We chose the location of Terre Sainte because we know it well- it's quaint and only 10-15 mins walk from centre of town. We were very pleased with the guesthouse- quiet, comfortable, stylish with very pleasant owners.

Pros: A rare find, wonderful property tastefully decorated and supported by friendly and professional staff. The location was perfect close enough to the touristy area but just far enough away to provide a place of tranquility.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Cote lagon is a peaceful and beautiful oasis to spend wonderful holidays. And it is much more than the good pleace directly near to the ocean, the good taste of all the decoration, the extraordinary good breakfast with seaview, the fine elected colors and little deails everywhere. It is the heartblood and generositiy which Veronique and the people working there spend in everything, what makes it so special. Your really feel welcomed. It is the ideal place for people who estimate more than only the superficial. Coming back to La Reunion it is definitely my first choice.
Cons: Time in life is to short to stay there
