It was in the town the wanted to stay in overnight.
Our room had spiders webs in the corners and on the curtains. We did not enjoy thetourist menu for the evening meal and have eaten much better in France. We also ordered a wine but they had run out of bottles and offered us two half bottles for the price of a full bottle !

“They thoughtfully phoned us to check that we wanted dinner on the evening or our stay. This was at a time when restaurants were closed in France, so to be able to have a proper three course meal in our room was a real bonus. Very clean which made us feel safe in these horrid Covid times. Excellent bathroom with a large shower, a powerful room heater and spotlessly clean. The large bed was comfortable and the temperature of the room at night was perfect, and I am a chilly person.”
