The overall comfort of the room and the close proximity to Salisbury General Hospital (where my course was held) and also to the city centre and cathedral.
Unfortunately I forgot to pack my mobile phone charger and hair conditioner. I was disappointed when nothing could be done to help as spares were not held on site to borrow or purchase, so I had to walk to the closest out of hours store to purchase them.
Receptionist was very helpful - showed us maps of Salisbury and trains stations etc
Friendly staff and nice large comfortable rooms.
Windows in the room and bathroom were old and could do with replacing.
value for money and location was excellent
The people were pleasant and the meals and service in the restaurant were both very good.
The bed was a king size bed however made up of two king size single mattresses of different heights of what seemed like at least an inch. This created a ridge line in the bed that made sleeping very difficult.
Excellent breakfast.Outlook from room of Cathedral and river was lovely
We had room 19 which had a wonderful view of the garden and river. The people were very nice and helpful with travel information.
I understand the property is in the midst of a renovation so I write this with the understanding that this item will probably be taken care of in due course. The furniture was more than a bit shabby.
Dinner was only fair
the history of the hotel because we stayed in the old part
the bar shut too eairly
