Nice and friendly staff. Big house with a lovely garden, great breakfast and reception.
Dirty and damp rooms and far away to the town. They don’t change the bar soap. The towel and bed sheets were dirty. The toilet doors are very old it doesn’t close or lock. The entrance of the hostel is really nice but inside is old, damp and dirty.
Lovely staff - very accommodating. Stayed in two different rooms - having had to return as a result of a bus strike, although it would have been nice to have been pre-warned about that in advance. The first room was en-suite, which I liked; the second room was bigger - and better equipped with a wardrobe space, a bedside lamp and bedside socket - with a separate bathroom but as there were not many people using the bathroom it worked out fine. Really nice decor throughout, a lovely garden out front and a terrace at the top but not quite the season for that!
The bed in the first room was too big for the room which meant there was no where to put anything (luggage) on the floor. There were no shelves, no hanging space and only one hook, so everything had to stay on the floor. There were two sockets by the bed, but only one worked so you had to choose between a reading lamp or charging the phone. The shower did not have a curtain - which would have been fine except that the water went all over the floor - a squeeze mop would have been useful to mop away all the excess water which could never drain.
Very cosy hostel with nice garden to chill and breakfast with home made bread an cake.
Just a detail: Could have more shelf space for clothes an bag.
Building and garden looked very cute
Location is just to far from plaza 9 de Julio to walk. You need a taxi for everything. Room was ok, however the bathroom circulation was very bad. The ceiling was full with molt. And the door couldn’t close. Staff was not very he lpful (something went wrong with the pick-up for our tour and we needed to ask 3 times if they please could call the touroperator. Also no other suggestions to help us) Breakfast was very basic, no healthy option (no fruit at all or some yoghurt) only sugar based product (marmelade, dulce de leche)
It didnt have enough plugs to plug in your phone in the bedroom.
