Nice well run family owned hotel with the personal touch. Very clean with all you could require for your stay. Great breakfast, spacious rooms, bar available, some food available. Restaurant & shop 100m away in village. Very quiet area between Volterra (14km) & San Gimignano (12k)
Only thing is the rooms could do with some sound proofing.

Provided us with a good base for travelling in the area. Room was very clean and comfortable.
Owner was courteous but could have been more welcoming - perhaps he did not feel comfortable speaking English - his wife however was very nice, and helpful.

Breakfast was nice (except for the fleshy fruit which had bugs all over them and the bowls were not covered), easy to find. We only stayed one night, but it was convenient to San Gimignano.
I think it was my fault, but I was expecting something different. When the ad mentioned "views of rolling Tuscan hills," I was expecting something not in the middle of town with traffic zooming by at all hours of the day and night.
