Pros: Hotel Rosa is the perfect location for exploring San Marino historical center. Located just below the main castle, it is easy walking all over town. The rooms are large, modern, very clean and comfortable. The breakfast just perfect and the cappuccino was excellent. I highly recommend Hotel Rosa and plan on returning again.

Pros: The staff gave excellent directions to the nearest car park and explained the hotel parking rates or discounted local rate. It was easy to follow their instructions however I would recommend using the hotels parking if staying over a busy period as the car parks were pretty full. The staff were very welcoming and friendly throughout our stay. The hotel is located in the centre of the historical town which is ideal. A matter of minutes from the nearby castles, we were given discounted cards for local attractions and a map of the city which was useful. You couldn't stay in a better location if you wanted to visit the historical town. The rooms were adequate, with a nice shower and lovely view opening up from the window. Breakfast in the morning was simple yet filling and tasty.

Cons: I would recommend the hotel invested in a pillow choice as ours were extremely hard which led to not the best nights sleep unfortunately. A mini fridge or coffee facility , anything for a beverage would have been a nice addition to the room.

Cons: Not any issues whatsoever. However, you need to know to park at Grand Hotel San Marino, which is a cramped garage that took maneuvering to leave. attendants were very helpful and it’s close by. They also happily shuttle you right to the door.

Cons: It was raining that day, water were leaking in through the windows and balcony door. There was also no door for segregation of bathroom and main room The restaurant was closed, and we need to travel to Grand hotel for the dinner.

Pros: Amazing place with amazing views! Felt like we were lords staying at the top of a castle! From the window of our room you could see over San Marino and right to the sea and the Italian coast. Location was the best. It was a big of a steep walk to get to but we were (like all tourists) going to the tower / towers the next day anyway, so would have had to climb that high anyway. This was a great place to stay because it was not so bad hiking up to the towers the next day as it was already quite high. The bedroom was spacious, bed was comfy, staff very friendly and let us leave our bags there for a few hours on checkout. Breakfast was basic but filling. Wifi worked great. Would advise everyone to see San Marino, and to stay at Bellavista.
