I chose this hotel because photos on the booking.com looked nice. In reality the rooms that they provided were tiny and outdated. Nowhere near as good as I saw on the photos. The hotel is quite far from the city. Staying here without a car is not an option — you'd be stuck in the middle of nowhere. At the same time, there're just a few of tiny parking spots, so good luck parking in high season. The bed was awful, one of the worst I slept in in a couple of years. They have real keys. That's right, clinking metal stuff with a huge knob chained to it. For those who know a thing or two about hotels, it's never a good sign. To sum things up, it was one of those hotels you drive by and wonder who the hell is staying in this hole? Well, now I know.
Free parking, room was clean.
The worst bed I have ever slept in. We thought that it might be broken in the middle but it appeared to be just extremely uncomfortable. Also the acustic was very bad - we heard all noises from the hallway. Breakfast was very poor and the staff wasnt very helpfull when in the morning we found out that our car has been blocked on the parking by other guest. They havent done anything for around 1 hour and only after we made much noise they vere finally able to contact and wake up the guy who blocked us.
The view and location.
Needs some TLC, it is quite an old building and in its day was probably a prime spot and with modernising it could be again.
Friendly staff Free bikes to rent Views and location Good breakfast
Could be a little cleaner and a few too many mosquitoes
The bathroom was well equipped.
Room was dirty, bed was rock solid, breakfast was limited, staff were cold, aircon didn't work, the hotel is very dated and poorly maintained. The pictures shown here do not accurately represent the average room. Very disappointed, was not worth the money.
