Location was excellent for areas we needed to visit. We were not able to get there for the first night due to ferry delays and bad weather, so we phoned to let them know. They were excellent and even though we said we would pay for that night, they didn't charge us. Breakfast was included (cereal, yogurt, croissants, fruit juice) - you only pay if you want anything cooked. The staff were all friendly and helpful and the food in the restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced
We were in an annex separate to the main building. It was a nice room, but a bit chilly when returning to the room as the heating wasn't on. Only "complaint" was the pillows, they were not very comfy
Great location and amazing vintage inn attached with great bar staff.
We were in a very small room in the old cottages. This on its own is no problem but the room wasn’t clean. The bathroom was dirty and the windows in the main room had insect droppings on it, also the toilet had hazard tape on it. Our bathroom faced the main pub and had no curtain or blind. Also the member of staff on at breakfast was rude on both days. Not just to ourselves but also to an elderly woman who took the lid off the milk. The member of staff snapped at her. If this was my grandparents I would be very upset.
Extremely dirty had front room it could do with some black out blinds and very noisy on main road I have stayed here several times and had no problems
Poor leaky shower and the shower curtain idea doesn’t work nowadays
Good food at the bar for our evening meal.
Twin beds were rather narrow.
