Excellent 9.0
Pros: Very nice room. Loved the breakfast. Well run family operation. "Welcome" is understood literally here. Very good Wi-Fi.
Cons: Nada.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything in general no complaints to make.
Cons: Suggestion: it would be good that the apartment has windows that are not literally living the door all night open, otherwise feels a bit unsafe to sleep all night long so exposed.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything was perfect starting from the moment of check in, the girl gave us recommendations for dinner and in general was very helpful. The room was big, clean and cozy.
Cons: Everything was perfect.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very beautiful place. Old hose, renovated with charm, beautiful garden, nice personnel. Outside city, but worth to be there.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Not far from the center - yet felt removed. And it was photo worthy.
Cons: I would have liked a bigger bath/shower... but it was fine.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The location was perfect for us as we were on a hiking tour. Our flight arrived at 7pm only a 10 minute taxi from the airport, so could enjoy the evening. Sofia and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. We had a wonderful home cooked 3 course meal which was so reasonable at 18 euros per head. The rooms and the house were really comfortable and stylishly decorated with traditional charm. Next morning we were greeted by an amazing breakfast, cakes, toast, eggs, fruit... amazing and set us up for the day. Would definitely recommend as a relaxing stay to others.
Cons: Nothing negative to say, could not fault it, reached expectations
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Beautiful location in the countryside yet only 10 mins drive from stunning Santiago. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Covid prevention measures stricly adhered to. Homecooked fresh food was devine. Absolutely delightful short stay.
Cons: it was ideal
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very charming hotel in a quite place

Good 7.0
Pros: Comfortable stay - plenty of parking.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The view and hotel design
Cons: No kettle in the room
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything was perfect and I wish I could have stayed more but definitely I will make another visit. The staff were super helpful especially one lovely lady was very helpful and made our travel much easier by calling the COVID test centre to arrange a test for us and booked us early appointment. I forgot to mention that the hotel was very clean and especially we had small kids I was worried at the beginning but after seeing how clean it was , we were very happy.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: It was large, clean, dog friendly, good facilities
Cons: Dogs aren’t allowed in the breakfast area (only the patio) - which is just a slight inconvenience as you have to walk around the building to bring your dog there. We were on the end room and when it rained we got a bit of rain into our hotel room. Again, nothing horrible but my shoes were a bit wet the next morning.
Good 7.0
Pros: - Welcoming personnel - Huge and confortable room - Well situated : bus near to the hotel : 25mn from the city center by bus, every 20mn - Swimming pool is a nice plus.
Cons: - Pressure problems with the shower - Breakfast : very unorganised. 30mn of line to be served. It is a buffet but you can't take anything without being served (covid measures from the hotel and at pick hour, it is a mess..)
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Big room. Confortable bed.

Okay 4.0
Pros: room was ok
Cons: booked this hotel as it had restaurant and bar and on my confirmation had offered special meal deal.the restaurant and bar were both closed and we had to walk a long way to find a mediocre restaurant.will not use this hotel chain again
Excellent 8.0
Pros: We enjoyed our stay going to the Santiago cathedral and it’s surroundings. The hotel was a bit out of town - so it did have good parking and the taxi to and from the center were around € 7 so not a big deal.
Good 7.0
Pros: Close to the highway, loads of parking, friendly staff, large rooms
Cons: Super slow internet, limited sound insulation, slightly outdated infrastructure- eg only one charging point on one side of the bed
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The hotel was comfortable, clean, and had a decent breakfast. No frills, but what really set them apart was their superior customer service and staff. My son had an unexpected stomach bug in the night, causing a huge mess to the bed and sheets. The receptionist was as nice as possible but I was unable to communicate what we needed (cleaning supplies, new sheets) to her because of a language barrier, and she called her supervisor. The manager, Naeana, RETURNED FROM HER HOME, to mitigate the language barrier and help us get situated, and also helped clean the mess. This was far above and beyond what we expected, and we were so grateful. I highly recommend this hotel for their exceptional staff.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The room is comfy and the beds comfortable The breakfast was great The airport is only 10min by car Reception is open until very late
Cons: We had twin beds instead of a double bed
Good 7.0
Pros: Hotel rooms were clean and staff were friendly.
Cons: Internet speed is a good reminder of how the world wide web was, terrible. location is only good if you want to leave Santiago and mattress was too soft
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Professional and friendly staff, excellent room and breakfast. Strong wifi. Good parking facilities.
Excellent 9.2
Clean room, nice hotel, 24 hr front desk
Excellent 8.0
Pros: If you book through a company such as booking.com, they refuse some of the services you would get if you book directly through their website.

Poor 1.0
Pros: Breakfast
Cons: So disappointed!! Firstly given the wrong code to re-enter & was locked out on mid day sun. Reception closes at 3pm!!!! Had to phone Spanish number for assistance & waited in a bar next door. Could not go out again as I wS not given new/ correct code to return!!@@ Also when I arrived in my room, shower soap holder was on the floor....the handbasin dis not empty correctly...so brushing your teeth was difficult unless you waited!!! This morning.....the shower unit broke in off !!! I complained to Reception & received free nice breakfast but was SO DISAPPOINTED as all the hostels which I stayed in for 15 nights previously were excellent & so.e one fifth of price of Hotel Santa Clara....which was supposed to be Mt treat after finishing the Camino Portuguese. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL!!! Hostels are so much better.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Simple and clean the room assigned to me was perfect for my stay. Position perfect close to the heart of the town (650 m from the cathedral), to the best veggie restaurant I selected for my dinners and to the meeting point of my excursion to Finisterre/Costa de la Muerte. Easy to access and with a charming receptionist (Beatriz) who helps you for everything you need. I recommend this place if you want to relax at the end of your Camino or simply if you concentrate this in two-days as I’ve done.
Cons: nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Position
Cons: All good
Excellent 9.2
Pros: The pick up from the airport was for free. It was exceptional because of the late arrival but I appreciated it a lot.
Good 7.1
Pros: Lovely reception Dining area and fabulous staff
Cons: Handles on windows and doors faulty. Hsir dryer off the wall. Bedrooms dark.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The location is wonderful
Cons: Nothing really

Good 6.0
Pros: Location was good, quality aligned with price.
Cons: No laundry bags in the rooms, quite noisy as next to the street, pillows not too comfortable.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great place for pilgrims !
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The hotel was immaculately clean and the staff were super friendly. Handy hotel as the location is walking distance to both the bus station and the cathedral.
Good 7.0
Pros: Staff was helpful, clear and polite.
Cons: The linen in my room smelled a bit to tobacco... not too much, but a little. Also, noise could be heard from other rooms and that didn't help with my sleep. Isolation should be improved.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Locación is great, if you go by car there is parking available in the neighborhood. Very clean. Great breakfast. The bed is very comfortable
Cons: The room was a bit hot, an extractor in the bathroom will be appreciated.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The staff was extremely friendly.
Cons: Small shower stall. Location is not the most interesting.
Excellent 8.8
I stayed here for 2 times, on different days. 1st night I stayed in a double room, the room is really spacious on an attic with sofa and bathtub. Really comfortable! 2nd night I stayed in a single room, a smaller room on the attic and it is still enjoyable. The location of the hotel is about 20 mins walk from Santiago Compostela, which is rather far for me. Location from this hotel is walking distance to the bus station which is convenient to take a bus to airport as well as to Muxia or Finisterra. Near to this hotel is a beautiful quiet park. Highly recommend this hotel if you prefer to stay nearer to the main bus station.

Good 6.0
Cons: They are change the hotel so this name is not in the building and we have to search until discover that actually the same... Good to rest but you can see that need a refresh.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: perfect location, very clean and essential. just stayed one night but overall a very good experience
Cons: only the fact that was a bit noisy in the afternoon but this could be random
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very helpful staff. They kept our bags safe after we checked out so we could explore Santiago easier. They also helped us secure a taxi. That was there very quickly and very reasonable
Cons: The breakfast could have had some fruit or a boiled egg. As it was it was pre packed breads w jelly. The coffee was excellent
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Good location, v clean. 10 mins walk to Cathedral square. Would recommend
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 9.2
Pros: We had a bag shipped here from SjPdP before starting Camino. People at hostel were lovely and so welcoming and helpful . It was a great location to end Camino. It was between old town and bus station . Room was comfortable and clean.
Cons: Liked everything
Excellent 10.0
Pros: I got the room I specifically asked for and could leave my luggage before checking in.
Cons: Good position
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We loved the retro vibe this hostel has. It was very clean and the staff were very accommodating with the check in process and courteous with answering and providing for our requests and needs. The bed was super comfy.and we loved how the windows opened and the view we had. They have a little laundromat which was handy and the location just brilliant for pilgrims to catch up with other pilgrims. They have stored our luggage while we went on a day trip.

Cons: Would like to be closer to the cathedral

Excellent 9.0
Pros: Breakfast very good
Excellent 9.0
Pros: I actually got to the place because of a last minute booking during the peak season in Santiago--it was like the only option. However, it ended up as a nice surprise. Quiet location, with one of the biggest shopping centers in the city just a few flights of stairs below (in the same building), and a nice park with a view of the cathedral nearby as well. Room was spacey for one person, modern and clean, and you had everything you needed really. And, if you wanted to go to the city center and knew your way, it actually wasn't that far (20-30 minutes).
Cons: I would say that the price was a bit too high considering the location, but it might have been only a seasonal thing, considering that everything else was booked out. The place also isn't particularly easy to find, unless you know it is inside this shopping center (which I didn't know).
Good 6.0
Pros: Good location and friendly staff.
Cons: Room furniture is very dated and in bad shape. The carpet is stained and dirty and the heaters make gurgling sounds in the morning.
Good 6.3
Pros: If not for the darkness and the office workers checking out your underwear on their way to work, the place would be quite nice. The room was small, but clean, with necessary facilities for storage, with a socket by the bed, and with a bathtub. Luckily, the bathroom is not a part of the reality-show arrangement.
Cons: The hotel is inside a business center. Inside the building. That is, you can see the people in the offices and staircases within a few meters from your window. And they can see you. And people in the lifts outside are close enough to see the surprised expression in their eyes when they see you half-dressed in your room (the lifts are situated in the manner that allows them to be reflected in the wardrobe mirror). Apparently, the hotel decided to solve the problem by removing the lights from the rooms. There is a dim bedside lamp, that makes the place look even darker. Since the hotel is inside the building, there is never enough natural light, and you basically stay in an intimate half-darkened of a completely dark environment all the time, still exposed to the curious looks of the opposite side office workers. Or you can draw the curtains, and enjoy the cramped space of a tiny room in the dark. In fact, there is one bright light - in the entrance area, There is nothing there, but that nothing is brightly lit, so if you need to find something in your bag, for instance, you can take it to the entrance to stand there and search through the content.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great location to central activities and access off/on hwy if driving. Staff super friendly !! (this property is located in medium sized "mall/market") Very clean, quiet and secured. Many thanks!
Cons: "that I couldn't stay longer" :(
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Staff, building, and location was awsome! Only one thing I felt inconvenienced was the bath looked not that clean. However, overall was so nice!

Good 7.0
Pros: Good location, great building and facilities. Nice value for money. However room 278 which i stayed is beside the showers and you could hear noise all time.
Cons: Noisy room
Good 7.0
Pros: Having a private room with space. Location is special and peaceful, close to essential facilities and the city centre. Your staff are especially helpful and professional. A great launderette.
Cons: No kitchen or supermarket. Very poor WiFi. The dangerous road into town - taxis and cars travel very fast down it and I had two moments which were dangerous due to the speed of the cars. One car travelled the wrong way up the one-way road. The speed limit should be 20, but I did not ever experience a car travelling at that speed, many were in excess of 40! No one seems to care for safety on this road. Take care! I wasn't told of a chapel in the building for pilgrims to attend.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff are really helpful, the place is huge and clean. Room practical and minimalistic. You have everything you need for peregrinos or any traveler.
Cons: It is a shame the community areas are closed but is an order from the government. Please, put longer the time the automatic light in the shower, they switch off in the middle of the shower.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Location price clean and very impressive building
Cons: All was perfect
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Place is huge!!..&very atmospheric!… great to have a single room after month of dorms for pretty much same price , ten minute walk to center - sink in bedroom very handy
Cons: Showers a bit gritty and the plastic bed with the white hygiene sheet that isn’t big enough .. to be fair it was 17euro a night for single room! ( pay 2 euro to store luggage for few hours on checkout day)
Good 6.0
Pros: Clearly a historic building. Beautiful stonework but it’s obvious religious function as a seminary still lingers. Nothing wrong with that but there is a feeling to it. Still, a single room in a monk’s cell is cheap, walk down the corridor to the bathroom facilities.
Cons: 30 minutes after midnight they lock the doors, too bad if your late, you can’t get in. Not a big deal for me but it goes with the religious stuff. This is not clear until you get there.
Okay 5.2
If you choose single room, you may feel scared. Because the room looks like prison... But the price is really cheap, I can accept that.
Excellent 8.2
Pros: The best part is that you are staying in a real seminary-- this building is incredible and unless you stay in a castle or some other Unesco heritage type building that wasn't originally a hotel, then you cannot have such a special experience. The price/location ratio is fantastic.
Cons: It's pretty no frills, but I got a single and it wasn't too small and had its own bathroom and shower. It was clean. My recommendation for travelers with more than a shoe string budget is to stay here at least 1 day but best is 2 days and then shell out and enjoy some luxury; yet at the same time if money were no object and I could stay at the Reyes Catolicos suite, I would still spend a night or two here. This is no ordinary experience.

Good 6.0
Cons: Be aware of the security issues. Our belongings were stolen from the car at the hotel parking lot, while we made check in.
Good 6.0
Pros: The location was ideal for our travels. It fulfilled the need for a single night stay.
Good 7.0
Pros: The hotel was really clean and in a convenient location for a final stop on the camino. The staff were extremely helpful - the best part of the hotel.
Cons: There wasn’t much to do around the property- no other places to eat out etc.
Mediocre 2.0
Cons: Dirty rooms
Okay 4.0
Cons: Excuse me, where is toilet brush?
Good 6.0
Pros: Location is quite far from city center, but extremely convenient and accesible to Monte do Gozo, a very famous hill and last pilgrim stop before arrive at Santiago. We booked it because after a concert there, walked for just 5 minutes and jumped directly to our room.
Cons: I consider the price a bit expensive, especially compared to other hotels of a similar quality. The location is 10/10 but is a somewhat old place although perfectly clean and care for an excellent staff.

Excellent 9.0
Pros: It was very clean and comfortable, and we liked the style by
Cons: It was further out of town than we expected
Mediocre 2.9
Pros: Food was cold, coffe was inferiour
Mediocre 3.0
Pros: Price
Cons: The staff could have been more helpful and informative, the beds more comfortable, breakfast could be better.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Helpful staff
Cons: A little far from city center
Excellent 9.2
Pros: The staff were very accomodating, providing a meal when I arrived quite late after the dinner service was closed. The hotel was on the Camino Inglés along a stretch close to Santiago that did not have many accomodations with private rooms. The room had a bath which was soothing after a long day of walking. The location allows for getting to Santiago the next morning after only a couple of hours of walking.
Cons: The decor was a little outdated. The hotel is great if you are stopping on the Camino Santiago, but does not provide easy access to other restaurants or to the city.

Excellent 9.2
Pros: Nice room, decent food, lovely hosts
Cons: Old rattly window in the bathroom.
Good 6.3
Pros: The staff was very helpful. You can reach Santiago de Compostela in 15 minutes by car.
Cons: The hotel and room is OK - but a renovationwould be beneficial.
Good 6.3
Pros: Staff very friendly
Cons: It was cold, after walking the camino
Excellent 8.8
Pros: The staff were very welcoming. The room and bathroom were clean and tidy. Dinner was served early which was great. The bar was good.
Cons: Breakfast options were limited so it wasn't such great value for money.
Good 7.5
Pros: The room was spacious and warm with a welcome bath after a long walking day. The staff were very helpful and accommodating.
Cons: The hotel was said to be on the Camino route but was hard to get to after a long day to Siguiero. We had to walk another 5km and some of it was along a very busy road.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Friendly owner greeted us on arrival and after a 30km walk on Camino we were very pleased to relax in this pleasant hotel. We ate in the bar area and owners mother prepared a super dinner.
Cons: Nothing

Excellent 8.3
Pros: Seems quieter than other Albergues on the Camino as bunk beds are sectioned into smaller rooms. Adequate bathroom and shower facilities. Nice colorful common areas. Helpful and friendly staff at the reception. There’s no rush to push guests out the front door in the morning, making it ideal for pilgrims who have just arrived and what a bit of a relaxed morning.
Cons: It’s a bit of a walk from the center. You have to pay to use the stove top but it’s not expensive.
Okay 5.8
Cons: Nothing in the area around, far away from everything
Okay 5.4
Cons: Esoteric symbols and music, which was not described on the internet. The music was playing even in the sleeping part. Accomodation was for low price, but there were extra fees for using kitchen devices, which I did not experience in similar types of accommodation.
Okay 5.4
Pros: Their decorations are cool
Cons: They charge for cooking and besides there’s no socket in their room. And they only provided one key for our 6 people group
Good 6.3
Pros: Nice staff
Cons: No doors, only hangings and all sleeping rooms have been connected like shower cabines or toilet cabines. As consequence was there no protection from snorring from other rooms and also no good safety feeling because stealing things could have been very easy. The sleeping area seemed also not really good ventilated as consequence the smell of the pilgrim's shoes was everywhere. One toilet and two shower cabines per gender were to less.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: A place with"Atmosphäre";nice Place to be
Cons: I didn't know
