Overview

In the heart of Saugatuck, the Best Western Plaza Hotel Saugatuck, Saugatuck, Michigan, is a gateway to one of the Midwest's most beloved small-town escapes, with a heated indoor pool, a hot tub, a fitness center, complimentary breakfast each morning, free Wi-Fi, and spacious, comfortable rooms. The setting puts Oval Beach, the Kalamazoo River, and the downtown galleries and boutiques minutes away, with an arts center, breweries, and summer art-in-the-park events filling the calendar. A dune ride or a sunset cruise is never far off. Saugatuck has drawn painters and gallery-goers for generations, an artists' colony of studios and shops where the Kalamazoo River meets Lake Michigan beneath the towering dunes of Saugatuck Dunes State Park, with the wide sands of Oval Beach close by and Great Lakes sunsets to end the day. In summer, dune schooners climb the sand, and sailboats drift on the lake at dusk.
