Very welcoming, helpful, returning guests, stayed there 30 years ago and loved it, comfortable stay, well worth the detour returning to England, lovely family. Area delightful, and pretty village.
The family were very friendly and helpful, and it was clear that the hotel has been used for many years by the same visitors. The rooms were comfortable, the bathroom in our room was very modern with a great shower. The beds were comfortable as was the temperature throughout. The hotel is close to the bus stop to either go further up the hill to Warth or to use the local ski resort of Diedamskopf.
The hotel perfectly suits families with young children who want an early dinner. The early dinner schedule sometimes made it difficult to use the spa and pool facilities after a full day of skiing, but it wasn't really a problem, and the food itself was very good.
Superb breakfast, comfortable rooms and delicious dinners in this cosy family-run hotel
It could have been possibly even better if there were coffee and cake or tea in the afternoons. But maybe that is just being greedy!
The breakfast is excellent and you can order freshly made eggs according to your preferences. Friendly and helpful personnel. A small Wi-Fi Problem was resolved the same day. Excellent for nordic skiers. You can start directly outside the Hotel.
Eventough, the were plenty of free tables, we were urged to sit together with a young couple on a table with difficult acces for the youngesters. We didn't really mind, but it's not the style of a 4 Star Hotel.
