Pros (+) The hotel is extremely clean, in a great location, and provides an excellent breakfast. Seattle is a very expensive city to visit and this hotel was reasonably priced and the staff was very friendly. I would stay here again and I would recommend this hotel to others.
Cons (-) The decor is a little outdated and it would be nice to have a mini fridge/microwave in room as there is room for it.

Pros (+) Hotel is on register of historic buildings. Much nice woodwork, well appointed rooms. Pioneer Square nearby. Lots of food locations nearby. Close to Ferry Terminal and harbor area. Four blocks from Link station.
Cons (-) Elevated freeway right next to building. Did not have a car, but understood parking was expensive. Many homeless people living in tents on street right outside hotel and folks sleeping in doorways making location less then optimal.

Pros (+) Staff was very friendly
Cons (-) Housekeeping staff needs to learn what the "do not disturb" sign means. Check out is 11am, I left the room at 8:50am for a few moments only to come back and find him cleaning my room. He threw out papers I had sitting on a table and dumped my 3/4 full bottle of wine.

Pros (+) I opted not to stay in a very luxurious conference hotel and stayed here instead for half the price. The BW was very clean, comfortable and conveniently located. Great cookies served in the evening, too!
Cons (-) Had some trouble connecting to the wifi in my room but it seemed to work everywhere else in the building

Cons (-) Everything was great until we encountered front desk clerk at check in. There was a misunderstanding about our reservation and for a minute we thought he was not going to rent us the room. Luckily the other desk clerk stepped in and smoothed the situation. Other than that everything was great.
