Staff was helpful beyond expectations. Location is ideal as most attractions were within walking distance.
I enjoy the professionalism of the staff at Hotel Theodore. It's actually quite memorable and when they call you by name, especially after you arrive from an evening out, that's impressive. That's either good preparation or good memory. And professional.
Valet parking and parking services need improvement. They've left my car in areas where it was covered in dust after a car wash, leaving it in an unacceptable state. I mentioned this to staff twice now, and still has not been resolved.
Price I was quoted, was not what I was charged, and I would like to speak to a manager. The room we were given was really for 1 person.
Location was awesome, walking distance to everything. Restaurant and bar really nice food and atmosphere. Great interior design.
Deluxe rooms are extremely small and uncomfortable. I've traveled just with my husband for a few days, we are tall and thin, the room felt so small, we couldn't open the door because of the luggage, one of us has to be on the bed for the other to walk around the room.
It's a beautiful old hotel that has been remodeled and updated in chic Pacific Northwest style. I was there for several days and interacted with a lot of staff, and they were all helpful and professional and friendly. My room was quite comfortable, with a huge comfy bed and great sheets. The location was fantastic -- in the heart of downtown and on the crossroads of all of the public transport. And, yes, I may have initially chosen the hotel because my name is Theodore. :)
My bathroom was rather small, especially compared to the overall size of the suite. It's a nice bathroom, and the shower was great, but cramped. The keurig was acting weird, and I kept forgetting to get it switched out, so that's on me. The attached restaurant is outrageously expensive, even for Seattle.
With a stay at Hotel Theodore, you'll be centrally located in Seattle, within a 5-minute walk of Washington State Convention Center and Seattle Paramount Theatre. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and multilingual staff.
