Outstanding. Welcome, although we arrived earlier than stated, warm, polite and helpfull. Stay, perfect service. Clean room and excellent food. Leaving, Sad. Thanks to Kelly and all the staff for making out break so comfortable and relaxing.
Well, there was a black pudding incident or should I say lack of. But I do feel over the five days we were there we were more than compensated for.
We felt welcome the moment we arrived. We were delighted to see the room. It was warm (a little too warm for us) and apart from hearing the people come in, who arrived after the Hearts Head had closed up, it was lovely and quiet.
Cant think of anything
The restaurant and bar areas are lovely with reasonable drinks prices and really good food. We had breakfast both days.
The rooms and accommodation areas desperately need refurbishment. The rooms do get very hot so complimentary fans would be a bonus. WiFi is good but there’s no charging points or chargers if you forget your own. Our bathroom was dark and a bit shabby there’s no mirror to put makeup on or do your hair with any natural light. The rear access after closing time needs lighting to navigate the stairs.
Very friendly, helpful staff. Beautiful setting with lots of local walks. Food excellent.
Very friendly helpful staff, good location overlooking the village.
