Aircon seems not working properly
This was our second stay at One Farrer Hotel, and the facilities (especially the pool and spa) continue to rate very highly. It was clean, well maintained and accessible. We were pleasantly surprised to find that we were upgraded for our one-night stay, and that was very much appreciated. The room was generally well kept, though there were the odd small pieces of chips on the carpet left by a previous guest. It was also a lovely touch by the hotel to offer us a complimentary, personalised cake for a birthday we were celebrating, though due to an internal miscommunication, the cake ended up taking about six hours to arrive! When it did, though, it was a wonderfully fragrant and fresh Ondeh Ondeh cake. We really wished we could finish it and do it justice but were just too full from dinner (side note: maybe instead of 250g, the hotel could halve that instead, or present one of the sliced cakes at the counter?) Breakfast continued to impress, although the variety on offer (especially hot, savoury protein items) seem to have shrunk a little since our last stay. Service staff did their best to accommodate guests in terms of seating. Overall, it was still a great experience and we would be happy to be back a third time, at the right time (and price point, of course!)
As above: room cleanliness (especially of the floor) could be improved, and perhaps to review some hot food items for breakfast. In addition, we found the pillows, though initially soft and comfortable, turned out a little too flat for sleeping on through the night. Bed was great, but pillows a bit too flat.
Large bed, beautiful pool, nice bathroom products.
The bathrobe was too small for me.
We’re 2 days into a four night stay and everything has been fantastic. Wonderful front desk & concierge staff. Our room is on 19 floor with views over the harbour.
Nice hotel & facilities. We were upgraded to a suite which was very nice of the hotel, but...
There was a strong urine smell coming from the manhole of the bathroom. Had difficulty sleeping as the bathroom and room was an open concept without partitions, so the smell engulfed the entire room. Because of the smell, it doesn’t feel as clean even though cleanliness was actually ok. Other wise it would have been perfect.
