Everything about this hotel was great! Comfortable beds, a nice mini fridge in the room, excellent water pressure in the shower, and a phenomenal included breakfast!

Pros (+) The facility is great, and we are regulars and have always been pleased...in the past
Cons (-) In this time o COVID, we were appalled at a lobby full, VERY full of people of all ages with out masks or proper distance. Most appealing the person working the front desk walked up to welcome us with a mask on, and proceeded to pull it off as they greeted us and checked us in.
Pros (+) Always our spot to stay in South Bend! Fantastic staff and facilities. In this time of COVID, the room was well cleaned and felt safe.
Pros (+) Location is good for Notre Dame families.
Cons (-) Beds were very uncomfortable making for poor sleep. Heard staff making a reservation after we checked out and told them about limited breakfast which we were not told about. Forced to touch too much checking in. Not good in this time of pandemic.
Pros (+) The rooms where surprisingly large, very clean, really enjoyed the extra suite space. Nice Breakfast.
Cons (-) Water pressure in shower was very weak. AC in rooms worked great but hallways and lobby was warm.

Cons (-) Although very polite, the front desk employee was not aware that her sundries shop did indeed have contact lens solution. It would have saved me a trip to the drug store had she thoroughly checked. Employees should always be aware of what is stocked in their sundries shop.
Cons (-) We had an incident on the floor that police got involved. It was a domestic problem involving other travelers. The management team was very helpful and considerate to us.
