Pros (+) We liked the easy access to the beach, the pool area and the short distance to local attractions.
Cons (-) Room had a pervasive, funky smell. The consistently high humidity is likely to blame more than a lack of maintenance however. The facilities were generally in good repair, especially considering we were there in the shoulder season.

Pros (+) The resort was very clean and the staff very friendly. Great pool & location to the beach. The place was great
Cons (-) The day we left the elevator broke but one of their wonderful staff helped us down with our luggage.The boardwalk going out to the beach seems to need some work with all of the wood breaking up. People could get splinters if they don't wear their shoes.

Pros (+) It was right on the beach, and the pool was nice (albeit much smaller than it looked in the website pictures).
Cons (-) The hotel was under renovations. The front desk was hard to find and in what appeared to be an administrative office. The building we stayed in smelled like paint and was unfinished. The restaurant staff were very incompetent.

Cons (-) There was major construction going on that we were not aware of. Traveling with a baby, quiet nap times is crucial and the construction plus late night music by the pool (not from guests, but from the resort itself) made our stay more stressful. Cons (-) One of the Jacuzzis was not working properly and there was construction going on during my visit which wasn't a very pretty sight.
