10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location as a base for exploring the various mountain passes. Quiet and peaceful area with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: Nothing.
6.7 Good
Pros: location
Cons: felt it was pricey for what you got.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: A place that did not really leave a lasting place in your list of places to stay, DON'T get me wrong, just a what you see is what you get hotel, warm clean and lovely people, doing a very good job, but thing to make this a place you would want to stay at more than a night. Ver nice that the owner allowed me to park my trike in the garage, as the storm and heavy rain raged all night
Cons: Thin Pillows ... but that's about all.. everything else was as it should be.
7.5 Good
Pros: Location, Medels is near ski slopes of Splugen
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff and a lovely room. The food was a little pricey, but it is Switzerland!
7.0 Good
Pros: Location is great; room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was just right: yummy and variegate. Hotel is very well located outside the A13, and even with heavy snow we didn't have any problem since the road was very clean and hotel staff cleaned the parking area well in advance we needed to leave. Dinner was also very tasty, with house specialties such as polenta concia and rosti with bacon, egg and cheese. Great value for money. Hotel is right on the winter path for snowshoes or backcountry ski, very nice for an hour walk in the snow just before gets dark.
Cons: The room was very hot. This is probably appreciated by other travellers, but it's not our preference. It was not a problem since we were able to close the heating and leave the window a bit open, but in general the hotel was warmer than our comfort zone in every area.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is in a great location - beautiful village with amazing views. There appear to shops and restaurants in the area in addition to a ski resort. Hotel restaurant was cozy and the breakfast was nice. The room was spacious and had a “lodge/cabin” feel.
Cons: Parking is down the street which was a bit of a challenge as there was much ice on the road. Check in was a bit confusing as there is no real lobby and you basically enter on the ground floor at the restaurant. There was no one there and we had to search for someone to help. There is no lift and you will need to take your luggage up several flights of circular stairs.
6.0 Good
Pros: I like the situation of the hotel in the Alps with beautiful views from the room. The beds were very comfortable and the hotel was quiet.
Cons: The bathroom was very small and the sound insulation of the room from the street was poor.

1.0 Poor
Pros: Nothing, although Splugen is a great mountain location.
Cons: Extremely hostile receptionist who in a very patronising way insisted I say good evening to her in German. Given that I live in Germany and she spoke Swiss German was a bit of a joke. Totally unfit to work in the tourism industry. Due to this experience we didn't eat in the restaurant. Overall the hotel is extremely worn (holes in sheets, tatty furnishings). Breakfast was uninspired and extremely basic. The room maid barged into our room without knocking at 0830. Nothing to recommend this hotel at all.
6.3 Good
Pros: In the lovely village of Splugen. Owner was very grumpy and very rude. Very unwelcoming. The younger staff were lovely and seemed to be trying to make up for the grumpiness of the older lady. Small room, noisy, had to sleep with ear plugs. Breakfast basic. Not as good as most country hotels.
Cons: Grumpy owner. Noisy.
7.9 Good
Pros: Beautiful location. Nice size rooms for families. Clean. Restaurant in hotel. Delicious breakfast included in price.
Cons: Highly priced.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Splugen is a very charming place, and Piz Tambo is a great place to stay
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good location in the middle of the village, the staff were friendly and helpful. It was a good base for a few days of hiking.
Cons: The bed was a bit short and squeaky in my room. Not a problem as I was alone, but might have made it hard to sleep as a couple.
6.3 Good
Pros: Good location. Good food and breakfast.
Cons: Did not get the room pictured on booking.com. Have had better value for money at this location on previous occasions. Room was very dated and basic with no view.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice rooms in a small town. Close to highway
Cons: Didn’t take credit card and don’t give back in euro
6.7 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Too expensive for what it is, old furnitures, aversge restaurant

9.6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is situated in a beautiful place, right next to trails and by the lake - the view was breathtaking. The hosts were very friendly and they take perfect care of the guests. I recommend this place a lot!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved the hosts, they were very kind. The food was really good and the breakfast was the best. Exactly what you need before hitting the slopes. The room was absolutely clean and the bathroom too. The hotel has the bus stop very close by which made it easy to go skiing in Spluegen (only 1 bus stop away - 5 minutes ride). On the last day we were able to leave all of our gear with them and enjoy one last day of skiing. We had a place to get changed once back from skiing and everything ran very smoothly. We had a great stay at the Seeblick and highly recommend it. Even my 13 year old son commented on how nice the hosts were. Would definitely go back!!
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect to break up a trip between our visits to Italy and Germany. This is a quaint little village, and the hotel was a gem. 9.6 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast is really nice! And free to the vals threme!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Our room was large and modern. A delicious breakfast is included. It is served at the table and consists of a variety of local and homemade products. The complimentary tickets to the spa make a stay well worth it at any time of the year. The location is perfect, a couple of minutes walk away from the bus station and right in front of a grocery store. Vals is a great place for outdoor activities. We took the free gondola up the mountain and did a snowshoe tour with amazing views.
Cons: Did not have the best night's sleep. The pillow was uncomfortable (too thin) and the bedsheets were a bit rough. There was noise from other guests returning to their rooms during the night due to poor insulation.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Going to Vals is already an experience on its own but staying in Hotel Glenner 7132 completes it! Luminous interiors, functional and cozy, the food is great (breakfast and dinner), the rooms are warm with beautiful views of the mountains. The staff is nice and welcoming. 8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff, great location just next to the ski lift, the hotel has nice ambience to it
Cons: felt the bathroom facilities (i.e. shower gel) were too poor. The breakfast was paid separately nad felt it ws too overpriced for what you get, especially when kids are charged the same amount
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. The breakfast is just amazing!
Cons: :)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice, comfortable hotel slightly outside of the town, right next to a ski lift. Good sleep, good food and the staff are friendly. They also have an outside jacuzzi with great view over the valley.
7.0 Good
Pros: The breakfast. Quite possibly the best breakfast I’ve ever had in a hotel. Any shortcomings of the place are completely forgiven, given the breakfast. The short term staff were excellent super friendly and helpful
Cons: The shower and overall was a bit cheaply built. Looks boutique-ish in the pics but in reality a bit disappointing in reality. And the portions at dinner where small. I would have like more veggies. The visiting fasnacht band ruined our romantic dinner for two and we weren’t warned they’d be playing when we booked dinner in the restaurant
8.8 Excellent
Pros: A very comfortable, quiet, clean and cosy place to stay in winter, with beautiful views down the valley and across the mountains. Staff were very helpful and happy to offer advice on local attractions.
Cons: Breakfast was excellent, though pricey. We felt that the dinner menu was average and overpriced. That said, the prices seemed to be on par with other hotel restaurants in Vals. We would have loved a kettle in the room with complimentary tea and coffee. Free WiFi in the rooms (rather than just in reception/restaurant) would also have been a bonus.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: So close to the mountain, excellent view and comfortable bed
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Very clean, comfortable and beautiful decoration.
Cons: The staff sent us an email only one hour before the check-in time warning us that there would be no one at the hotel waiting for us and that we should use a telephone next to the garage on order to have access through it. Because we were on our way at the time they sent the email, we didn’t have access to the internet and didn’t check the email on time. So, the result was that we arrived to a completely closed hotel, and after waiting for a while and exploring the surroundings of the property we eventually discovered a hidden phone next to the garage and we decided to try to use it. This caused us some stress and dissatisfaction as, in our perspective, the staff should have warn us with more advance.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: it was awesome. it has very nice vista point all of the Vals.
7.5 Good
Pros: The room was large, comfortable and had an excellent view of the mountains and village. Initially we had some difficulty in English, but this was more than compensated for by the kindness of taking us by car to the bus stop for our onward travel.
Cons: We were surprised that wifi coverage did not extend beyond the Reception Desk. This was bearable but not ideal given our need to organise our onward travels.

Cons: There is always something that could be better - but there is nothing to single out here.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Nice sauna and jacuzzi, but cleaning in the showers could be better. Great views! Great breakfast. Billard table.
Cons: Cleanliness in spa showers
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The host was very friendly and always there
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Nice hotel located at the foot of Julierpass. Very friendly personnell. Despite being popular by bus tours, they took care of us very well and made us feel at home. Food was served quickly despite the large travel group. Rooms clean and great view from the balcony. Spa and sauna area is phantastic and free of charge.
Cons: There could be more regional Bündner dishes as there is only one on the menue. According to the owner the bus tours dont appreciate local food but we would have! And very awkward: you can look from the parking lot directly into the sauna/ spa area which is surprising for both the people in the spa and the people looking at you...
4.2 Okay
Pros: The girl from the reception was nice and helpful.
Cons: We didn’t get the same accommodation/ treatment from the male host compared to how he accommodated the European guests. I felt unwelcomed and discriminated. The hotel has good reviews based on the European guest’s feedback. Unfriendly host.

7.5 Good
Pros: Great location and very clean. Warm rooms. The food at the restaurant is good. Staff at the restaurant was lovely.
Cons: After paying for a room and an expensive dinner you would expect at least tap water for free. Unfortunately we were charged 5 CHF for two glasses of tap water. The mattress wasn’t of my liking (soft) and the pillows were flat. A shower cap, conditioner and shampoo would have been nice to have.

Pros: The staff is very friendly and professional, and even let us stay a little past checkout. It is also really nice to be able walk from the hotel to the spa without needing to go outside. The spa is lovely, and the restaurant serves delicious local foods.

Pros: The welcome and staff were just super-friendly and extremely helpful, this was great. We arrived late, but despite the restaurant being really stressful at that time, they were extremely nice and made sure that we could check in immediately. And they still heated the sauna for us and offered to prepare some late diner. We then had to leave super-early the next morning - and to our surprise found a little but excellent / very varied breakfast including yoghurt and fruit, cheese / ham etc. prepared. thank you very much, this was so cool !!!

Pros: Small family managed hotel in a nice location in front of a lake and surrounded by superb mountains. Good basis for mountain trips and skiing in the surroundings. Spacious room, very quiet and clean. All comforts available. Staff very kind and friendly. Excellent dinner with local specialities. Very good breakfast and they are available to serve it early in the morning for mountaineers! Wide open air parking just in front of the hotel.
Cons: Some refurbishment needed in the dining room and stairs.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: clean and the staff was incredibly friendly and informative.
Cons: a little expensive for a road side rest stop hotel with a view of a gas station but still nice and comfortable after a long days travel.
Incredibly clean, great facilities, and the restaurant was delicious. If we find ourselves in Switzerland again we would try to add this location to our itinerary for certain.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice, very clean, comfortable room with the view to the lake. Very friendly staff. Great breakfast with local products, excellent dinner. Free parking next to the hotel.
