Steamboat Springs is a beautiful ski town in the mountains of Colorado. The Ptarmigan Inn is located in the quaint little village below the lifts. The location is very popular in the winter and spring, but it also offers a lot in the warmer months of the year.

This hotel has 77 rooms, of which some offer ski-in/ski-out access. During the summer months, that same access can be used for bike-in/bike-out. Rooms are equipped with refrigerators, private bathrooms, TVs, coffeemakers, hair dryers, and blackout drapes to hold out the light in the morning. The rooms can be chosen with one bed or two. There are cribs available upon request.

Guests can have breakfast in the morning at The Ptarmigan Inn for a charge. There is a restaurant on-site and a bar. There’s also a microwave in a common area for all guests to use. Steamboat Springs has many dining options that aren’t far away at all. The bottom of the slopes area has many bars and grills and specialty restaurants an arm's length from this hotel. There is a free shuttle that runs through the main drag of the town also so guests can have access to the entire place.

Skiing and snowboarding are available all throughout the winter months. There are many days when there’s live music playing in the lower lift area. The summer brings about time for mountain biking, hiking, camping, and other outdoor activities. This town is beautiful in the summer just without the snow.
